This is a must. My puppy loves the taste. I add a small amount to my puppies food once a day to maintain a healthy coat. I also rub a little to her feet pads to keep them moist and rub into her coat a few times a month which also adds her to have a great smell. Price is good for size of the jar. I highly recommend this.

not sure how to get the dog to eat it after the second time. I have tried mixing it with stuff but it does not mix easily. It is of course oily and difficult to work with as well.

not easy to give to cats, they are picky eaters. my cats wouldn't touch it, so it's a waste of money.

Way too expensive for what it does. For my dogs it would be 3 tablespoons every day. It would last about a week.
