Glad I purchased this bc the plastic shower caps were not as effective for braided hair! It's reversible and you can actually use it at bed time to protect your hair!

To me, I will agree that this product works well as a shower cap I would not use it as a bonnet as it still feels like a shower cap on each side it's very hot when I'm sleeping in it I sweat And that ultimately messes up my hair so if you want a nice shower cap cool but it's not a bonnet you also need to hang it up or it'll be soaking wet when you go back to use it It is not like your traditional shower cap

I got this for another person. I can't answer.

I took a shower and blow dried my hair and straightened it and then later on that evening I had to take a quick shower, so I decided to try the new shower cap. It is beautiful and large so it's great if you have long hair, the only problem is when I was rinsing the back of my neck some of the shower cap got wet, which usually happens, but the back of my hair got wet, and the rest of my hair was frizzy and lost its shape and I had to redo my hair all over again. I would not recommend, unless it's something you want to sleep with because the satin would keep your hair from frizzing, although you might get hot because there is a layer of plastic between the outer layer and the inner layer of material.
