I love this can opener, watched Mississippi Kueen used it and decided to gove it a try. No struggling to make it go around and or cut the can.. ... I have recomended it to many friends.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my son. I used it while making dinner at his house and loved it! It made me wish I didn't already have my stand up electric can opener. It is so easy to use! You can also walk away from it to do other things. My son loves it as well. It is especially nice that it leaves no sharp edges.

This can opener is perfect for camping, you do not always have electricity so nice to not have to worry about a manual can opener. It opens the can nicely to lessen the risk of sharp edges. It is so easy to use and works really well. It does take 4 batteries, they were easy to install, no screwdriver needed. It is a good addition to any kitchen.

Excellence product very good quality. So easy to use even my 88yr. grandma can use it. Great for older people or any one who has difficulty using a regular can opener. The top part where the batter put in its a little mis aligned but the top part lid does stay on over the battery's and it does work beautifully. It does seem a little over priced but it works perfectly for what we need. I love the color and yeah its a weird shape but I see why that is and love that there is a magnet to pick up the lid so you don't have to.

Kitchen Mama is an excellent product! It is easy to use and does a great job. Place over the can and press the top button. It claps down and around it goes cutting through the outer edge of the can. When complete, the sound changes and you push the top button. That releases the can and you lift up and the lid clings to the Kitchen Mama. No mess. So easy. Great product!

This is the second time I have bought this can opener. The title, Kitchen Mama Electric Can Opener, is misleading as it is battery powered, not electric. The first one has lasted two years but has started to struggle and replacing the batteries did not help. I will keep the old one as a backup in case the new one quits working. The best thing about this product is the magnet that allows the lid to attach. Have to pry up a little and it will then attach. Once figured out and with practice, it is easy to do. It cuts as stated with no rough edges on the can or the lid. It is small enough to put in a drawer.

I am in my mid 70's and I have arthritis, and as such, the convenience of this can opener makes life easier for me! The opener also cuts below the rim which makes it easy to lift the lid off of the can opener (magnetic) with minimal sharpness of the lid.

I've actualy only used this once and it took a little time to figure out how to use it effectively, but once I did, it worked like a charm. I can't judge if it is better than an electric can opener, but it certainly takes up less space.

I have used this can opener half a dozen times. It works well, but I am still getting used to it. I am not sure when it's finished cutting it does not automatically stop. You must push the button.
