Kitchen Mama Handheld Electric Can Openers (Teal)

im 70 yrs old. this opener is awesome. no more sore hands. its a must have.

This can opener is great. It took me a little while, with some help from a friend, to figure out how to work it because it is very different from electric or non-electric ones I have used in the past but once I knew how, I am very glad I bought it. As a senior, it works perfectly for me.

I was looking for a product usable with one hand. I had purchased a "similar" product that didn't work very well (left sharp edges and pieces of paper from the label, wouldn't always shut off and took two hands to remove from the can. The Kitchen Mama is easy to use with one hand, and a lot safer-no sharp edges. Also stays much cleaner.

This device is so kool, works well if can is not bent.

I depend on this beautiful little can opener and wish I purchased it sooner. It is saving my thumb and wrist tendons from inflammation. It's so easy to use and very sturdy as well.

This is a great concept for standard can opening. Instead of cutting the top (lid) and exposing sharp edges, or dropping the lid into the contents. This clever opener breaks the seal (on the side) without having any sharp edges exposed. The only concern I have at this point, is how long the 4-AA batteries will last. Time will tell.

I love this can opener but have had it get stuck on a can twice. At that point, you need a new one. I do have to say that Kitchen Mama stands behind their products 100%! What more can you ask for from a company! They respond quickly to emails and resolve problems! I would recommend this product just on that alone!

I'm finding the can opener is a little tricky to learn to use. It could have just been the type of can I was trying to open. It's size and shape are perfect for storing in a drawer. Overall I'm happy with it.

It worked once. It leaves very sharp edges. A hand crank opener with new blade works better.
