Kitchen Sink Stopper in Stainless Steel for InSinkErator Garbage Disposal

I have installed many of these in different houses. Always was pleased with everything, until this last unit. Stopper leaks slowly. When I go on line, all they want to do is get me to buy a stopper, can't they include a stopper that works?

This is our 2nd In Sink disposal in 18 yes. Only changed it because er installed a new sink and counter top and faucet. The old one is still working and installed in another kitchen. The new one is super quiet, and easy install. Have recommended this to our friends. Very pleased. Jim 39

The original was a two piece design that kept falling apart. This is one piece and fits perfectly to keep the water in the sink. Thank you!

I needed to replace the original sink stopper to my insinkerator and this one was perfect. I tried to replace it with generic ones from the hardware store and none of them fit correctly. This one even seems better than the original one.

We lost our disposal stopper; it probably was mistakenly thrown away. I didn't know if we could find a replacement to fit since the disposal is over ten years old. We ordered this one, it looks great and works great, too! No complaints!!

I bought a new stopper for my Insinkerator disposal after losing the original and it was great to find an exact replacement online with the manufacturer. I'd say it's about as perfect as a plug can be - easy to install, use, and keep clean. Looks good and our previous one lasted ten plus years - if we hadn't inadvertently recycled it out with the old sink, we never would have had to replace it. I only gave three stars for innovation, because, well, let's face it - there's nothing innovative about plugging a hole in sink is there. :-)

Possibly made for Large Disposal. I have industrial in home but it was too big. Works on normal drain size.

I bought the 'Brushed Stainless' version of this stopper. My sink is 'brushed stainless', my faucet is 'brushed stainless', my soap dispenser, etc. Everything in my kitchen. All of these items have a nice, somewhat matte stainless finish. 1.) This stopper looks like you can actually see 'brush marks' in the steel. Very weird and kind of cheap-looking compared to everything else in my kitchen. 2.) Otherwise, I would say the quality is pretty good - feels solid. 3.) However, why not make this thing look a little nicer? You sell these really nice, premium disposers - but they're under the sink where no one sees them. Why not spend a little more time making a really nice, excellent quality stopper? 4.) Also you kind of missed the boat by not putting your brand name on the item. Again - no one sees the disposer, everyone sees the stopper(!) That's where your branding should be and that's where you should go to town making it look nice. The one thing the consumer looks at every day(!) Thanks - hope to see a nicer stopper some day soon...

Unit seals well once you put it in, but the knob is too small to get a good grip on it to remove it. Knob shape and size needs to be improved so that you can get a better grip with your fingers to remove once water is in the sink. J.L.
