This is a game changer. When I first saw it I was like no way! The first use changed my mind. It glides right thru the worst yuck and scoops so much at one time. I usually only have to scoop twice to clear the whole box every 2 days. Much sturdier than it seems. Love it.
I like this twist on cat litter scooping. The are three in one tools. The outer scoop keeps litter from falling on the floor, the inner scooper is used to scoop and dump into the outer scoop and continue scooping. When done, the bottom scooper can be emptied in the trash with no spillage . There is a nice brush that fits perfectly into the scoopers that you can brush any spillage at all into the outer scooper cleaning as you go. I like it a lot!!!
Where has this scoop been all my life? BEST design EVER!!! No more juggling a plastic bag while trying to empty the scoop after every pass. This scoop has slots just the right size, it's very sturdy and the storage bin/dirty litter carrier is very generously sized. It safely carries used litter to the garage/garbage can where the litter can be disposed of. Both handles are very comfortable to hold and nest into each other when the unit is not being used.
This little combo scoop works for me fine. I actually put a small plastic bag inside the outer scoop and use it as the thing to put the dirty clumps into to be dumped. The holes on the actual scoop, I feel. should be a little smaller. It is heavy duty, easy to clean, and stands on it's own.
I love love this item. I have multiple cats, and this scoop truly makes cleaning their litter boxes so much easier. Very sturdy. The brush is handy on some areas of the scoop. It can't brush some areas off due to angles.
I don't have cats however I purchased this to clean my outdoor ashtray it is a sand based ashtray. The scoop separates the sand and cigarette butts well. But I think it would be great as a cat litter scoop as well.
Scoop it's kind of a basket scoop that help mage sure you don't spill the scoop. Everything fits together inside the dustpan and the handle hangar keeps it off the floor and ready. I love this scoop. And normally I'm not a fan of plastic scoops.
It is very sturdy and has everything you need to facilitate litter pan clean-up. However, the holes are too big for smaller clumps left behind by kittens. I'm still going to keep it because it's very well made, but I might get a temporary "finer/smaller" holed scooper for my kitten until she produces bigger byproducts.
In theory, this is a great little device. However, it has several design flaws. I took off one or half a star for each: 1) the holes are too large and many smaller clumps get through, 2) the broom doesn't really sweep well (leaves litter even after sweeping it many times), and, 3) having the holes at the very bottom of the scoop is quite awkward and litter slips onto the floor as you're emptying it into a bag because of how long the scoop is. 4) There's also the fact that the cup that holds everything and is supposed to hold the scooped litter is far too small to use with the scoop without dumping dirty litter on the floor. Like I said though, it's a great idea, but needs some major tweaking. They needed to do more testing with customers first and then listen to their comments/ideas.
Good idea. Horrible execution. The plastic is flimsy and the holes are too big. You'll end up doing 2x the work. The only thing worthwhile is the brush.
