This product is perfect. If somebody believe in the gossip that the controllers loss the tracking, i have to say, it is fake news. 100% well working. I suggest it !
My son requested these as his friend recommended them. They are absolutely brilliant. Highly recommend
Love the grips, good quality and fit. Built in opening for battery access without removing the grips is ideal.
Super helpful and also helps protect the controllers from damage. Comfortable and just generally a good product. I Recommend
I absolutely love these controller grips. Not only are they super comfortable but they are also very useful in games where I need to move quickly.
These grips are game-changing. Comfy to hold and stay on your hands firmly—totally recommended!
Default straps at the bottom of the controllers would constantly get wound up along their length, and unwinding them was a really awkward process.Compared to that, putting these things on and taking them off is almost instant, while having them fall off accidentally is still impossible. One small negative is that I could use my hands (e.g., type something on my PC while controllers are still on) with default straps, but I can't with these. Taking the new ones off is still slower than just typing with the old ones on, but that's arguably not a problem. A real negative would be the skin irritation after playing beat saber for a couple of hours, which didn't happen with old straps - they only left temporary red marks for ~16 hours. But note that I have pretty sensitive skin for a man, and also irritation mainly occurred on the right hand, which I tend to move more precisely (and so more sharply). I found a compromise in comfort by having the right strap relaxed to the point where it doesn't feel properly (tightly) attached, but still not enough to where I can make it fall off by just shaking my hand. Having it like this, especially because it's different from the left hand, is pretty awkward, and there is still some skin irritation, but I'm not going back to the old straps.
G4 Pro Performance Controller Grips
I want to like these grips, but I just can't with the strap. Tightening the controller even a little bit will leaves marks and your hand becomes irritated after a couple hours of use. I also used a modded camera with the IR filter removed and the IR LEDs do get blocked quite a lot by the rim of the grips which is supposed to be somewhat transparent to IR. No noticeable issues with tracking, but I'm guessing it's tracking mostly based on the IR LEDs that aren't blocked.Overall the build quality is great, even with the strap issue. I don't play long sessions often so it's okay for me and I'll be sticking to it for now. If you're using it for long sessions or very regularly I would not recommend it.
The Shop app tells me that my item, the g4 pro performance controller grips, is still in transit. The last date it gave me was.... NOV 26! I received nothing.
