Replace the stock air filter with a K&N. It will instantly pay for itself. I've used K&N for decades. Why? Because K&N RULES! They always have and they always will.
Great construction. Oddly, I lost gas mileage by installing this unit so I went back to the stock filter. You can tell the car is running rich from my black exhaust tips (stock tune), but very soon ill be using this filter -again- on my booted setup. Should work great!
Excellent product as always with K&N. I wasn't ready to invest in a full on CAI for my '15 EcoBoost Mustang, so I went with the drop in filter instead. Can definitely notice a more responsive throttle and quicker boost build. Extremely fun to drive in Sport Mode.
Great product. Should be the first thing done to a Mustang GT. It will allow any other mods to perform at their best. Noticeable improvement in air flow and acceleration. If you are on the fence, just do it. You may want to keep stock filter in the trunk for when the car goes in for service.
I have K&N filters on both my Mustangs and a Civic. I saw a slight improvement in performance on the Civic, on the Mustangs not really, but they are just fast anyway. As for gas mileage, if you are a spirited driver, I doubt you will see any increase either. That being said, I have put K&N filters on all of my cars since the '80s and have never had any problems due to dirty intakes and have saved many $$$ on filter replacements..
As always in the past the difference in the airflow and perfrmance in the vehicle is beyond EXCELLENT, you all own the high performance market without a doubt . THANK YOU .
K&N air filters are great and I do recommend them. I put one in my Mustang and you can feel the engine breathing better and more efficient performance and acceleration. Get one.
With gas prices like they are now you need every bit of help you can get. I've been using K&N air filters for years. Use them in every vehicle I own and always game 1-2 mpg. It's worth it in the long haul
I've used K&N filters in my past couple of mustangs. Excellent value, they last forever and can be washed and reused after re-oiling. Also, they probably add a few HP. My filter was shipped in less than a week, so I got good service.
They will never ship your item!!
