Motorcraft Oil Filter FL500SW

You gotta put this on when the oil for the truck is new. You better not use the one thats already on there. You can use the one that already on there but you better not. It only fits one way. Theres a whole you gotta make fit. You might have to use some blak tape if it leaks a little. If it leaks don't use it no more. This one fit my truck when I put it under the truck front side. I would recommend using this if you really need one. It will make the truck run when driving it short or far away.

This is the only filter I will put on my 14 and 15 F150 5.0 and 3.5 nonturbo respectively, or other vehicles that Ford Motorcraft has a filter for..silicone anti drain back valve, well made can and filter media and parts inside. Watched several videos of them being cut and opened, they're top quality stuff unless they change them. Walmart has them for a good price.

There are a lot of options in oil filters, but I've always just stuck with Motorcraft filters for my 3.5 Ecoboost F150. I've never had a single issue with them and you can't beat the peace of mind you get from using original Ford parts. These filters always spin on and off easily for me, and are an excellent value.

this is the only oil filter I would use on my Ford truck. I was a mechanic for 40 years and have seen the damage other filters can do, this is the best of the best.

Could not find this item in stock at the store after several attempts and several stores. Purchased on line just to get this item at the wal mart price.

Just a standard Motorcraft part. Compared to GM AC Delco parts, these are more pricey but I stick with the manufacturer for these types of parts. As I write this, the cost for this filter is $8.44 versus $4.57 for a PF52E AC Delco oil filter for an equivalent GM 6 cyl engine. I would have given it 5 stars if Motorcraft had a more competitive price.

i use this on my 3.5 ecoboost. i watch lots of filter opening videos online. these filters have a very high quality bypass valve which is great for safe starts with an ecoboost motor. wish they had better quality control on the glue inside and used better filter media. i will stick with these due to them being oem ford and a good bypass valve.

seller shipped a loose FL-2121-B12 filter bouncing around the shipping box without any Motorcraft box and with a paper sticker with the FL-500S model number slapped on top of the OEM label to hide the shell hand. Wrong part with a sham relabeling attempt, from a bulk pack they are piecing out to rip people off. I won't order car parts from Walmart third party sellers again. Waste of time and money.

WALMART RIPPED ME OFF BY CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD 3 TO 4 TIMES AND CANCELLED ORDERS. EITHER THEY ARE IN FINANCIAL TROUBLE OR HAVE SERIOUS ONLINE PROGRAMMING ISSUES. you sent me the wrong filter. the filter wouldn't even screw onto the oil adapter. part numbers are critical. employees must know what they are doing in each department.
