K&N Performance Plus Universal Air Filter Recharger Kit, 99-5050

This is a cleaner and oil for K%26N reusable air filters -- if you have these filters (which are for cleaning yearly, typically) you need to clean and oil them yearly using this cleaner and oil. These were a good buy at WalMart (cheaper than other places I found them) and worked well on my K%26N filter -- the cleaner loosened the dirt well and it washed out with water, and then (after the filter dries) the oil does its job getting the filter ready for reuse. No problems. The oil has a nice notch on the top to make it easier to apply it to the crowns of the vents, which is a nice touch.

I've had K%26N filters in my vehicles for decades. it saves me a decent amount of money. buying these products, last me several years. It would cost me triple the amount. To buy the average replacement filters

I have purchased this item before and it is a great item to have. I will continue to purchase it again in the future.

It appears to be an effective means of cleaning my filter

The cleaner seemed to do as it claimed. Here is my one issue with the product, it's just a packaging issue. The cleaner states to "use liberally" with the pump sprayer the product came in is a bit of a problem. You start out ok, but it won't be long, and your finger will start to cramp, the bottle will become slick with the cleaning solution, then it really starts to become a nightmare. My suggestion to the buyers... Supply your own pump sprayer. My suggestion to K and N. changes the cleaning solution to a quality "trigger" type sprayer bottle then offer refill bottles.

The description on the product page noted it was the aerosol kit. When it arrived, it was the liquid bottle kit. I needed it too bad to return it. It was a very messy application but I was able to use it. This should be corrected.

Ordered what was described as aerosol and got the original pump spray.

It said that it would be the aerosol, and the part number was for the aerosol, but it was the squeeze bottle. Disappointing.
