K'NEX Beginner 40 Model Building Set - 141 parts - Ages 5 and up - Creative Building Toy

This was the perfect toy to give my grandson's. They spent hours playing with it and absolutely loved it! This was the perfect toy to give my grandson's. The KNEX beginner creative building set comes with 141 pieces with a wide variety of uses. My son is 8, but I am glad we started with the beginner set because it is very nice, the real deal. There are so many different creations your little one can make! At first my son enjoyed making his own designs. Then when he ran out of ideas he turned to the creating book for ideas. You can make several different things like airplanes, buildings, or cars. It includes rods and wheels, perfect for making vehicles or tall creations. I love the KNEX building set because it really jump starts your child's imagination and helps them get creative. It is a nice activity toy that makes for hours of quite play. I am glad to have it my son enjoys it. When he is down he can throw all the pieces back into the box and close it up. I am glad the box was made to be reused for storage it makes clean up and storing it easy. I recommend for sure

This is a perfect starter set for my 6 year old son. He is lego obsessed so k'nex is a great next step. The parts are well made and he play with it for hours.

One thing I really like abput this K'NEX 141 part model building set is the fact that all the pieces come in reusable box that even has a little carrying handle on it. When you open up the box there are two bags full of building parts. It also comes with a very detailed instruction manual that not only tells you all the parts and pieces that come in it but also has instructions with visual aids to making a few different types of models. I love how easy the instructions are to read and you can clearly see which piece you need because each specific type of piece has a specific color that goes with it. The first thing I made was the arrow which took me less than a few minutes. It was really super easy to find all the pieces looking at the Arrow instructions and putting them together was a breeze. One thing I did notice is that you do have to kind of lay the piece on top of the other piece and push down to connect into place. Connecting the pieces as a lot easier than unconnecting them as you have to be very careful not to bend while deconstructing whatever you created, and instead you need to pull one up and the other peice down to disconnect without breaking. It definitely is coreect when saying 5+ as a smaller child might choke or break peices more easily. It doesnt come with too many peices so youll only be really able to make one of the models at a time, unless you buy multiple sets to put together. Very fun though and will hopefully keep my 5 yesr old busy for a while.

The K'NEX Beginner 40 Model building set is a great set. My son and husband both enjoy building different thongs with the K'Nex. They both like to play for hours building so many different things..This set is a great bonding toy for father and son. I'd recommend the KNEX Beginner 40 model set to all parents with little.kids with a great imagination.

I like knex. This set is ok for the price. But it does have alot of small pieces. Wish there were a few larger pieces

My 5 and 9 year olds enjoy the set, although I'd recommend a bigger (more pieces) set for the older age kids. The set comes with instructions for building things, but the ability to play unstructured is my children's favorite. Set is sturdy enough for 3D building. However, one of the spikes of one piece did break within the first few plays so they are still a bit flimsy. That's the only reason I didn't give a 5 star review.
