K'NEX construction is so much fun! The grandkids love to build different structures and are so proud when completed. This magnificent product teaches basic skills of mechanics, physics, and other valued skills. Would highly recommend for 5 age.

Great set, diverse building choices
My 7 and 10 yr old grandkids picked up building, one used the selections in the book, the other went freestyle! They left them at my house for their next visit!

pretty good toy
half of the model directions are for flat items shaped like an animal. Otherwise cool kit. good set to get my 4 and 5 year old started.

Save your Money
What happened to K'Nex? I bought my children many K'Nex sets when they were growing up and they loved them. They were able to assemble easily and the final product was sizable. These K'Nex's are small and as a result, much harder for my grandchildren to put together. The box is so much bigger than needed for these small K'Nex which is dishonest marketing as far as I'm concerned. They've ruined K'Nex by making them so small that they're a waste of money now.
