comes in It's own storage container, keeps busy minds and hands productive. love the ideas kids come up with, it was a Xmas gift
The Knex Imagine Building Toy is an excellent product for those interested in combining fun with learning. It's great for older kids who enjoy creative challenges, but younger kids also can play with simple designs. The storage box is very useful.
K'nex are such great products. This set has a great variety and offers builders a chance to follow the instructions for the included building designs, or use the pieces to create their own. Plenty of pieces in this set for hours of imaginative play.
Bought it for my 6 year old in order to support his brain development as they explore the world and learn new things each day.
My family is new to the K'Nex world. That being said, I did not have a personal gauge of these in comparison to other K'nex sets. I do have friends that have purchased other sets for their kids. They did inform me that this is actually a good starter kit for K'Nex. I was pleasantly surprised to see that parts were separated I used quart size ziplock bags to keep them organized. My biggest and most pleasant surprise was the very detailed booklet included to guide how to build different vehicles. If this is your first set, relax and follow the guide. The storage container is pretty big so you can definitely get additional sets and have plenty of room to store them. Overall, this was the perfect starter set for my Sweet girl.
I got this for my kids I have a 6 year old and a 9 year old and they really liked it, I was surprised at how small the pieces are, I was really expecting for them to be bigger, my 6 year old had trouble putting them together and didn't get the hang of it right away he loves Legos and I thought that is how they were going to be buy they are not like that at all, shapes and sizes are completely different than the Legos so my son didn't really find an interest in this toy after he saw he didn't really understand it, but on the other hand my 9 year old loved it she spent hours putting things together, and building all kind of stuff, she really liked that it comes with a large paper that shows things she can make so thanks to that she got tons of ideas of what to do, I would recommend this toy only for older kids not for small kids at all due to the size of the pieces like I said they are very small and be prepared to see them all over your floors all though they do come in a orange plastic container that helps a lot in keeping all or most of the pieces together.
These came packaged in a plastic container that can be used for storage. The instructions in the book for the builds seem pretty straightforward and easy for my son. Although some are the pieces are really small, I can't wait for him to use these.
My grandson and I put one of the helicopters together and had a lot of fun a little hard to snap in but fun
First off, I was a bit shocked to open up this big container to find what seemed like very few pieces but upon closer inspection there probably were over 500 pieces mostly micro pieces. I sat down with my 10 year old grandson and we tried to follow the diagrams. We both ended up very frustrated with the very small pieces. Maybe for children with a whole lot of patience and imagination.
Bought for 9 year old boy who already has lots of Lego. He likes it. One of the pieces broke on the first or second day. Lots of little and tiny pieces. Don't expect the container to be full at all. Pretty good value overall compared to Lego I think.
