I gave these to my nieces kids and everybody enjoys them. My niece, her husband and their 9, 7 and 4-year old kids. They have endless creative possibilities and don't hurt as bad as Legos when you step on them.

Kids loves it and so do we. So colorful and so much fun building. Comes with some free step by step instruction manual to build basic level stuff (duck, flower, tree, rainbow ball etc.). Few are shown in the manual and some you have to scan to get the digital instructions on your phone. If you want, you can also purchase step by step instructions of premium ones for advanced levels. Was totally worth it!

These Brain Flakes are fabulous. We didn't have creative toys like this when I was growing up. I think they're better than legos. I got them for my great-great nephew who is VERY artistic and creative in a way that most 5 year olds aren't. He will LOVE them.

My kids LOVE these toys. I bought them in a pinch when we had no toys at our location to use. My kids are 5, 8, 11 and 17 and they ALL played with them. It was a great way to occupy them and they filled many hours with the endless options they could create.

Both my grandsons, age 5 and 9 love playing with Brainflakes, at their house. They make all kinds of things with them ., like they can with Lego's. So, along with purchasing Brainflakes to have at my house when they visit, I've added the tubes and wheels set to broaden their possibilities. I'm sure they will enjoy the addition.

This is a very versatile toy. It sparks creativity with building from my 3 year old grandchildren to my 16 year old son. Started with the 500 piece set and just had to add to it with the 2500 piece set to allow for more creativity. I had never heard of these before, but I work at an Autism Center and they had them for the kids there.

These are a bit larger than an inch, but size didn't really matter to me because it's a different take on building rather than using legos and blocks or tiles. The set came with plenty for building. I did look on youtube to see the various things that can be built with these, and there is a lot. I also purchased the brainflakes wheels and axles set for building vehicles. It's a pretty neat set when purchased together. There is a website to go to where you can print out free or purchased builds like a sword which I seen on youtube as well. If your child or adult is big on building, I believe this is a cool set to add to their collection of building toys. Plus, it encourages different aspects of Steam. Art and engineering for sure off bat, but you can get creative and use these as manipulatives for math or throw a battery on it and make a functioning robot for technology. My nephews, sons, and I are going to have quite a bit of fun with these as we enjoy building toys. I will probably have to purchase more in the future, but its a starter set for Christmas to see if they will enjoy them as much as I believe. I am 10/ 10 satisfied with my purchase they are quite thick as well and visably not cheap plastic. I will do an updated review a few months after Christmas if these are holding up well to my expectations or not.

My kids actually got some of these as a kids meal toy that made different animals from a Wendy's restaurant and I decided they would be a great thing to have. It's a mess especially with smaller children but great for kids imagination and brain building, and great to have during this time where we're all homeschooling. They came in perfect condition and earlier than predicted so I'm happy.

I ordered this for our giving tree at church. The good selected has development disabilities and I am hoping that this builing product will inspire the person to create something wonderful
