Kodak 10-inch WIFI Digital Picture Frame, Solid Wood Tone Frame, Gift for Loved One - Chocolate

I recently purchased the Kodak 10-inch WIFI Digital Picture Frame in the solid wood tone frame, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The chocolate color adds a touch of elegance to any room, while the WIFl capability makes it effortless to upload and display cherished memories. Bought these for gifts, and it was super simple to use! I was able to get photos on them easily! And deleted them with ease if I didn't want it on the frame anymore.

I bought this frame for a gift for a friend. It is a very good item as a gift for sentimental purposes for people who love to keep memories stored, but you can share the memories with others without having to pull out books; just place it in your sitting areas. I did have some trouble getting it set up though.

The frame does display pictures well, but, I also have an Aura frame and with it, I can see the photos that everyone has uploaded and crop them, delete them, caption them, and pick one to display at any time. This frame doesn't let you do any of that. Plus, it displays the original photo - so even if you've edited it on your phone, it shows the original picture. I figured Kodak would have the whole picture thing figured out, but it was cheap for a reason.

Do not buy this. It doesn't update, so you get a pop up every couple of hours that will interrupt your pictures that you will have to manually close. The tech support for this is not handled by Kodak, it is manufactured by a company out of china that you either have to run up a long distance international bill to call, or you will be troubleshooting for weeks over email. I am giving up on this, it was a gift to my wife and I am mad that I wasted my money on this. If you get lucky, you can tap on the mac address multiple times and can get to the android menu underneath that may let you fix it, unfortunately for me the mac address tap did not work. Buy something better.

Wrong plug for the American electrical outlets.

Couldn't get it to work, tried connecting to multiple different WiFi and lots of reboot and settings adjustments. Gave up after two days of trying, can't work without initial network connection and wouldn't connect to generate the QR code required.

There is a bright yellow Kodak logo in the middle of the picture frame and it doesn't show that anywhere in the example photos. Looks very ugly. Will be returning.

I never received the item to give it a review although they're asking me to review the item I received and they're not willing to give me any of my money back for the time wasted on the item I ordered and paid for upfront

This frame is a piece of junk.  The touch screen doesn't work.  I can't navigate back to the home screen even after I do a hard reset.  The photos don't rotate when I tap "rotate."  The new photos never cycle through, the "17 NEW" has been stuck on the bottom for weeks.  The different time setting to cycle between photos don't work.  Absolute worthless piece of junk.
