This heater has been a wonderful addition to our setup. So far, no freeze ups and we're in single digit cold. Very happy to say the least.

It works so well! Was suprised with how much warmth radiated from it. First time winter RV-ing in New England, this was a life saver.

Fast shipping, we had in 1-1/2 day right b/f freezing temps. Noticed high quality as soon as opened package: very thick insulated %26 sturdy made. Had to let lay open, flat out of box for a few hours so the velcro would straighten out. It was very easy for one of us to close velcro when sleeve was laid flat on ground... disconnected hose, laid hose flat on sleeve to pull velcro together; connected hose back-easiest way we found. If you take the time to keep velcro flush; pulling next section together goes well. As with all industrial velcro, it needs time to lay out flat, in warmer area, from being folded tight in box. Also, helps insulated coil part to adjust from being cramped in box. This sewer hose cover provides proper insulated warmth; auto turn on right when temps dip toward freezing %26 maintains warmth until temps reach safe temp, then auto shuts off. No need to worry about plugging in or unplugging...! More cost effective than other insulation/heat options we have tried. Confident in this set up; along with heated water hose this season!

Great to have so your sewage lines dont freeze up if you have it connected all the time. i wish it was more like a heat tape that you can twist around and manipulate and not a open ended sock like cover. i wanted to cover all my sewage pipes from the underbelly of my RV to the septic but cannot go past the T connection. havent tested it down to the -45 degree guarantee yet, will update my review after winter is over.

It is simply untrue that this works to -45 degrees. It works well down to about 0, but any lower and you're going to have a frozen sewer pipe. For about a month, I couldn't use my clothes washer or dishwasher. I hauled water outside that pooled in my sinks and tub. Will have to look for something better for next winter.

Hard to conform to pipes. Ended up burning up and crumbled.

We laid it out. Put the sewer hose in. Sealed it up. Plugged it in. It heated up. After a few days, we went outside to check it and there was a hole the size of a dinner plate BURNED through the cover. It did not burn the sewer hose, just the cover.

the product itself is durable and sturdy. however, i ordered the wrong size and was 1st offered a 10% refund and keep product to resell. i said no. then a 20% refund and keep product. i said no. finally offered full refund and keep product. finally! sadly still no refund. worst experience ive ever had with walmart. im out 100 dollars and have a 20 ft heated sewer hose in ky rv taken up room.
