After having a small amount of welding done to permanently attach the cross members to the hitch bar, for security and rigidity, this hitch is worth the money. It is not heavy duty. It is a duty unit, serviceable and lightweight. If crossbars were 1/8” instead of 1/16” thickness it would be heavy duty.

Heavy duty. Steel with strong welds. I have a 50 lb , 28 inch E bike, No way could I carry 2 of these bikes. Smaller. lighter bikes no problem. Lift the rear of the E-bike Knee high and insert the wheel. Lift the front wheel waist high to get it in the carrier' . I,m a senior and I can load or unload in 5 minutes, Buy a Locking Hitch Pin to lock your carrier to your vehicle. Get a cable lock to lock your bike to the carrier, Cyclists, and hikers won,t rip you off. It,s the sneak thieves that are cruising the Trail Heads looking for easy pickings. (they are wearing face masks and have mud on thier licence plates)

i bought this thinking i had a bike hitch but i only have a spare tire, but i unpacked it and it looks amazing! lol i just gotta buy a tow hitch attachment to my car tho 😂😂

Bike rack made of heavy steel, easy to assemble (need ratchet). Velcro straps cheap. Could improve there. Overall good value/price.

looks good. easy assembly and adjustable so you can customize it to the bikes you are using and use your trunk if you have barn doors you will only be able to access one side though but at least you can get to your gear I would definitely recommend getting a couple of small bungee cords because it does come with velcro but the velcro wall work fine if you're just using it for short trips

Product and shipping time was as described. Assembly was relatively easy and quick. For the price the carrier is quite sturdy and easily holds 2 bicycles. Adjustable to fit various size bikes. The Velcro straps supplied appear to work to hold bikes however I am using bungy cords as a backup as well.

the hitch receiver application is the correct size, fit was snug with hardly any movement not like the one with plastic insert. bikes travel well with no movement. used bungee cords for extra securing. welds look good, time will tell on durability, good price.

The lack of instructions made this a challenge to assemble and the use of pictures was confusing. The actual rack isn’t all that sturdy. Had I known this required so much time to decipher the pictorial instructions I would have invested more money on one that was easier to assemble.

My bike is medium frame and has 27.25 inch wide tires. It just barely fits this carrier if I turn the front wheel outward slightly. My friend has an e-bike with slightly bigger tires and it will not fit. Would prefer this to have fixed straps instead of velcro strips, but the carrier works fine, unless I get a bigger bike or want to take my friend. Easy to assemble.

Better have a 1/2 ratchet wrench always handy to adjust this rack. The uprights are too short. the distance between 2 cycles after they are mounted is too less, and you risk destroying the motors/gears/brakes due to frequent contact between the bikes. Would not recommend.
