My daughter received a betta fish for Christmas from grandma and this was the perfect choice to give him more room. It isn't to big or to small. He's almost always swimming; whereas, in his one gallon he wasn't. The only thing I can think of needing to be changed about this tank, is it needs to have an area cut out of the hood for cords to come out. The cord on the heater (I bought separately) is to thick to stay fully closed, which is why I used my soldering iron to make a notch on the hood for full closure.

Had the tank for about 2 weeks now, everything is going great after I bought air bubbles for the tank and and some decorations. Goldfish are very happy.

Its a good tank. The filter is ok but I would rather have a sponge filter with an air stone that sits on the bottom of the tank. I will be changing this one out. Overall it is a good tank.

Bought this starter aquarium for my granddaughter. When her parents took her to there local Walmart to pick up the item they said it was a good experience, and the granddaughter luvs the aquarium. They picked up a couple of fish, and after getting the tank ready, they put in the fish. She is 4 year's old, and is taking care of the tank on her own.

I love this tank! Perfect for first time fish owners! Comes with tons of instructions and extra goody packets to help start you off. The filter is amazing - quiet, very bubbly and excellent flow. The light and hood are perfect, it already has notched out areas you can cut to customize where your tank necessities go. I just use it the way it came, I didn't change anything. All you need to buy are your decor and your new fishy babies. Maybe a heater for certain types of tropical or sub-tropical breeds. Visually this tank is beautiful, very modern and neat, I really enjoy the bow front. The bottom is completely clear, no black band across like most tanks. I wasn't so sure about that at first, but it looks fine once you have your gravel and decorations in. Size is great for 1 - 5 small/tiny fish. I bought this for my female betta and she loves it, she is hyper and playful and swims almost all day long. She plays with the filter, she swims up and lets it push her around the tank, then goes back for more. I loved it so much I bought another one, and rescued another betta to put in it! Pinkie and Izzie are very happy now!

This aquarium is pretty easy to set up (my 14-year old set it up) and maintain. The filter system is super quiet. There is plenty of room for our betta fish, plants and a couple of ornamental structures. I would recommend this for someone looking for a simple aquarium that looks nice.

This tank is very cheaply made, the plastic is distorted with ripples and the hood is warped. The internal filter is less than ideal, as the flow is blowing my Betta around. Will have to Jerry-rig a solution with a piece of plastic canvas, since a soapdish with suction cups snd marbles would take up too much room in such a small tank. At least the filter sits off center, so he has a bit of room at the top on the right side until I can get it fixed.

It took me so long to find a tank for a specific spot this one came it was all scratched up just thrown in a cardboard box no protective film around the tank to keep it from damage perfect size totally damaged
