La Costeña Pickled Whole Jalapeno Peppers, 25.9 oz

These are so spicy and Very delicious. when i was about 10yrs old my parents would take us to the drive-in Theater and at snack time i would go to snack stand and buy 3 jalapeños in vinegar and eat them with milj. Never had a stomach ache. Thanks Walmart

These La Costeña Pickled Whole Jalapeno Peppers have always been part of my diet for many years, I refuse to eat a sandwich without the proper pickled peppers, I used to stock up with a couple of cans but that was never enough, I switched over to the 12 pack and my sandwiches are very happy, they are my main food group....)

One can in the multi-pack was bent enough to be leaking, but it was evident that not much had escaped, the shipment box was mostly dry, and the can was still almost full. I poured the remaining contents up into a plastic storage container and put it in the fridge, and there were no ill effects from use. This wouldn't have been safe for many items, but the vinegar made us decide to save the product. We chop these peppers and serve them with beans, tacos, etc. More packaging would be appropriate inside the box, apparently, but this wasn't a bad purchase.

$2 and change for huge tub, win. Extremely fresh. Do not usually buy stuff from metal can like this, but cannot tell at all. Take out and put in tubbaware and put in fridge, lasts weeks. Not too spicy or vinegary, absolutely perfect. Has a bunch of carrots with it too which are a nice treat. Eat with nachos, sandwiches or salads.

As an experiment, I used the La Costeña Pickled Whole Jalapeno Peppers to marinate a farm-fresh whole boneless, skinless turkey breast overnight, with the peppers, carrots and all the brine. Definitely added a nice zip to the turkey beast. Was not too hot, even after 24 hours in the fridge and roasted with my dry rub. May not be what this is intended for, but the turkey breast turned out great!

They're delicious either as a snack or in a meal. Some stars knocked off in the quality and texture fields as it's always a gamble whether the can you'll get has nice, crisp ones, or squishy over-pickled ones.

This brand of pickled whole jalapeno peppers in the can is better than the Goya. Not much oil included in these canned peppers compared to the big G brand which uses oil like Texas.

these used to be really good jalapeños, they did something to the recipe, the increased the seasonings and are using firmer jalapeños, very disappointing to me, used to taste amazing. still has good heat level but tastes like chemicals now, tried multiple cans to months apart so i dont believe it was just a bad batch...
