I like the clock! I live on the East coast. The time set with Ft. Collins at 4 o'clock after one night. I woke up at quarter to the hour and went downstairs to watch what happened. I had set the clock manually previously. The minute hand froze for about 15 seconds, made the adjustment, and then continued on. Everything has been on time ever since so I guess it made the hook up okay. Nice clock.
We haven't had it long but works good and atomic clocks is what I like and always have. It doesn't make noise, it was easy to set up also.
I've had it with inaccurate time pieces. One could only dream of the levels of exaltation that comes with the smooth silent and reliable fixture of our home. In particular I must comment on the longevity provided by three double a cells, the ease in which the time was set. And the stately manner with which it conform to the decor of our domicile.
Have ordered before. Like the automatic set and the automatic day light saving setting.
One AA battery for >one year of operation, up to 3 AA batteries for >5 years of operation. Large black digits on a very white back round, easy to read at a distance. I can not hear it ticking so silent in quiet rooms. This clock sets itself to WWV for >one second accuracy. I'm a fan of analog clocks and this one is a keeper. I'm on the look out for a 14" one just like this one. You want an accurate analog clock to put a couple batteries in and forget this is for you
Great clock! It sets the time automatically as soon as you put in battery! It receives weekly updates of accurate time from US Air Force in Colorado Springs so you know it's always right! You have the option to put 3 AA batteries in for 3 years of no time setting problems! Auto updates for daylight savings time too!
We bought three of these for a small Family History (education) center. Because of where they are placed you can always see a couple of them at the same time. One of the clocks came with the second hand offset from 12 noon by a few seconds (like 12:00:05). It consistently resets to that time, while the others always reset to exactly 12 noon. So after they set themselves (which they all do), there is a few second offset between the one clock and the other two. I get periodic questions/feedback about which clock is right. I mean, it's only a few seconds, but it could have been avoided if the QA on these clocks had been done correctly before shipping. I just explain to people that it's only one clock, and it's only a few seconds, and it's still better than the alternative, and that's life. I've looked for a procedure to re-align the second hand but not found one. If I could reliably do that without destroying the clock, I would. Otherwise, we're happy with the styling, the consistency in performance. And they arrived here when they said they would!
I placed my clock above the TV. It does not work. I researched the problem and found probably there is interference from the TV and internet connection. i will have to go through a resetting process that takes almost a week! I wish I wish I had known. I eoild not have bought it!
Overall the clock looks good and works as advertised. A small feedback for the product team. The slot in the back to hang the clock does not quite fit the standard screws well. I found it hard to select a screw to use to hang the clock. Room for the product team to check and expand so that the standard screw would fit.
Clock stopped working after a few weeks. Battery was intact but clock did not keep time. Faulty merchandise. Misplaced receipt; would like to return for a refund.
