La Crosse Technology Atomic Digital Black Table/Wall Clock with Indoor Temperature, WT-8005U-B

i have bought this clock for several rooms and as presents; i like that it has the date and the day of the week.

I love the whole look at the clock I love the fact that all the information I may need is just a glance away I can even see it in the semi darkness of a bedroom the price without standing for the quality I am a very happy owner of this really nice clock

I can actually see the time on this one- accurate time, all the time- not too big ir too small- great for a bathroom too! Matches any decor!

The numbers are large and easy to see. I like it.

These clocks last a long time and only need to replace the 2 AA batteries, when needed. The clock will even run on rechargeable batteries . When the display gets dim it is time to replace or charge the batteries. La Crosse hasn't changed the design in over 15 years. It's still a GOOD INVESTMENT at a reasonable price. but doesn't glow in the dark. I have never used it as an alarm clock but hung on a wall or leaning on top of a table is fine.

Overall its a nice clock. The only complaints I have are, the display needs to be a little bigger and the stand (for the table) was of better build.

After being dropped a couple of times, it did seem to hold up to the expectations of durability. Auto-adjusting DST works well, as do temperature and calendar features. However, the clock cannot be viewed from any other angle than straight on. Overall, a good purchase IF placed in direct view.

I can barely see the time from the couch; nothing else can be seen unless close to the clock. Should not qualify as a wall clock because a wall clock you should be able to see everything it's meant to show throughout the room and not merely up close as if a desk clock. The time is the only thing big enough for a wall clock. I don't know if I like the set up or how it keeps time yet; I finally threw my other one away that I bought only last winter that looks like this one but silver/grey; it would not keep the time at all, constantly changed the hour no matter if the weird search thing was on or not - I finally threw it on the ground to break it so I wouldn't have the chance to keep allowing it to mess up my days and put my appts in jeopardy; hopefull this one isn't an a/hole.

I thought getting an atomic clock would mean I wouldn't have to worry about setting it, but my clock ran fast right out of the box. I tried setting it manually and minutes later, it was several minutes faster. I tried setting it atomically but even with the correct time zone, it ran fast. Nice design, but very disappointing that I had to return it. Didn't want to try for another one.

Ordered 2 of these clocks. Both had scratches and scuff marks on their bodies & faces, and looked like they were used. The La Crosse packaging was poor, NOT Walmart's shipping packaging. I didn't return them, because they worked. Unlike 2 identical clocks I had ordered from Amazon that came broken, which I did return. I called La Crosse about the poor quality of both the product & packaging and they blew me off.
