Does exactly what it says it does...
All in all, this was a great purchase. It does exactly what you'd expect it to do, as advertised. It was immediately recognized by my MacBook Pro, and I was able to quickly begin using it for Time Machine backups. I can't speak to the longevity of the device yet, but so far, it functions as well as I would hope. The rubberized finish is a nice touch.

Replaced a SanDisk 4TB SSD which failed after only one year of light use. LaCie has gotten great reviews and I'm very happy with its performance during set up and initial Time Machine Backup process. The initial almost 2TB loaded quickly and without issues. Great price and service from Walmart!!
