I'm assuming it has to be the milk and dairy in it that is causing this. I've used antacids but they didn't seem to completely help the issue. This Lactose Digest X Complete is an enzyme specifically to help digest dairy and I am so grateful to own on those nights I just can't turn down ice cream ! I love that it is Non GMO, Gluten Free and Vegan. I also appreciate it comes from Natures Truth which is a reputable OTC brand.

It's Gluten free and with no artificial colors. Definitely helps either way digestion of lactase enzymes.

There are products are much more effective, tried and true. I don't want anyone to rely on the effectiveness of this product and end up in an uncomfortable situation.

The price for the product is not terrible but would not buy again. In the past I've used Lactaid, Kroger's brand and other generics--all of which did what they advertised: allowed me to eat dairy without pain, not this one tho.
