Lasko 22" 1500W Oscillating 2-Speed Ceramic Tower Space Heater with Remote, Black/Silver, 5521

Been using this heater in a 12'x24' workshop-utility building while insulating it. It has been doing a good job so far knocking the chill off. I just finished the insulating today, so I'll see how warm it is in the morning. Low tonight 33 degrees. I expect I'll be satisfied with it, as I could tell a big difference in temp. as more insulation went up.

I purchased two of these heaters. they both work very well, especially in bedrooms. it puts the heat where you want it or you can oscillate. need to read instructions for temp settings for high and low, little more complicated. but use it as is, and it works great.

A gift purchase. Important considerations were other reviews on product, its oscillating feature, remote control, and size. The receiver of this gift item is very pleased with its performance. Both of us have owned Lasko products previously and were satisfied with products. Great shipping from Walmart - as always!!!!

I love this heater. My boss had one at work in her office and she would let me borrow it and that is when I knew I needed my own. They did not have it in stock in my local walmart so I bought it online and had it shipped to the store. It was an easy pick up. The remote doesn't come with batteries *SIDE NOTE* but once you get them the remote is heaven sent. It does glide back and forth easily on that setting circulating the heat around the room fast. This heater warmed me up and allowed me to sit at my desk and do homework. I would recommend this for all college students who have a small wall heater or gas heater and wants to go electric. The heater does sound like a small fan, if you don't like that breezy air sound, then don't buy this. I love it!!! best gift I have ever bought myself. Great investment for any room or office.

I have try 4 ceramic heaters,diferent brands..and thnx to Walmart return policy,they went back to the store.the heaters have diferent problems,digits difficult to see,fan problems,thermostat problems...now I have the righ heater..no problems.heat fast,the thermostat is working like a fine clock.3 years warranty.excelent price...i can`t wish no more.

We really wanted one of those new box infrared heaters, but didn't have the money really. I was tired of being cold in the mornings, so I bought this one. It arrived quickly and it was easy to understand how to work it. The remote is great! After only 20 - 30 minutes our living room was nice and warm. To be fair it wasn't really that cold outside (only 39 degrees). Still for the money, you can't beat it. If we ever get the expensive box heater, we'll still use this one in the bedroom or office.

I have a small glass office which gets very cold, but this heater warms up the area in about 30 minutes which is great! If I had drywall instead of glass walls, I'm sure the heater would heat it in half that time but otherwise, it does a fantastic job!

Works great. Seems to not let out as much heat in a larger size room, but that is where adjusting the heat would work. I love the oscillation. it helps heat the room a little faster instead of staying in one specific spot. I think if the heat blew out a little stronger it would help with not having to turn up the heat setting any more, but I do like the product and so does the person it was a gift to. I am still learning how the heater works. It was not cheap, but definitely not what I expected for the price I paid.

The Lasko Electric Oscillating Ceramic 1500W Tower Heater worked well for my bedroom and master bath area. However, it did not perform as well in a larger area like the den or dining area which seemed to much better with an infrared heater. I Once I figured out how much area the heater would cover, it served it's purpose. I purchased the heater due to having some work done on my gas pack/unit. I was pleased with the overall results.

This heater does a good job once I understood how to use it. What happened in my case was that the air in a still room will stratafy leaving the cold air near the floor so the heater will run and run making the air in the upper part of the room very hot. To stop this, I put a small fan on a shelf above the heater blowing down, mixing the upper air with that near the floor. This lets the thermostat in the heater sense the real temperature in the room so it can do a proper job keeping the room at an even temperature. A better way to sense the air temp. would have been to use something like a telescoping antenna with a sensor at the tip so the user could pull it up to read the temperature of the room air at say shoulder height. Another way would be to use a wireless sensor they way those indoor-outdoor thermometers do. The user could then place the sensor, maybe sticking to a wall to sense the real temperature of the room and not just down at the floor where the heater is. Anyway I like this heater, it is quiet, puts out lots of hot air, and using a small fan with it keeps my bedroom at a comfortable temperature. I would buy it again.
