Lasko 22" Electrically Reversible Window Fan with 3 Speeds and Storm Guard, White, W16900, New

My house originally had an attic fan installed. It had been removed by a previous owner and I was considering installing a new one to pull air through on cool evenings/nights. I had tried smaller window fans - those dual 9" units but they just didn't move enough air. Then I found this 22" fan and decided to give it a try. I put this in an upstairs window and was very pleased at the breeze it pulled through all the open windows downstairs. While it is not as powerful as a true attic fan, it is a suitable replacement. It is quiet and reversable to blow air in or out as desired.

It does pull a lot of air. I have it venting warm air out. Pretty quiet in an of itself. I have foam around the unit in the window and it reduces the sound even more.

I bought 2 of these to put in the upstairs windows on the opposite ends of my home. The air they pull is amazing. They pull the the air from my basement and the fan is on the second floor! I have an open concept home so there are not a lot of walls to hamper the air flow.

This was the best purchase I have made in a long time, needed something for a space that mom sleeps. She's bed bound and never really like the AC, I received this today it's been hot for a few days. She sleep for hours after I put this fan in the window.

I purchased 2 of these fans to put into my attic windows - I use my attic for a craft room, and it would become extremely hot during the summer. These fans have helped so much I do not have to move my machines this summer. Why I didn't think of getting large window fans sooner is beyond me. They work beautifully. They are not to loud but really do their job.

Had to return the fan. Very disappointed. It looks good and appeared to be perfect to fit in the window. I tested it before mounting in the window and it clunked and rattled at all speeds. The mount of the plastic blade hub to the motor was loose and sloppy. Also the speed control switch was very hard to turn and clunked into position. I good looking fan that is made very poorly. Very sad.

Garbage don't buy!!!!!! I ordered this to replace a fan like it that was making a terrible noise and this cost me over 100.00 and it makes just as loud of a noise. I don't feel like dealing with the mess to try to ship back such a big package. It sounds like a loud tractor in my living room. So disappointed.
