Lasko 6" Personal 2-Speed Table Fan with Storage Tray, White, 2002W

Have bought this brand of fan for many years. I own 3 at the present time. As time has gone on, a few have conked out and needed to be replaced, but gave years before having to give them a proper burial. I have to say that they've doubled in price since I first started buying them, which I guess should be expected being that was years ago...

My area at work gets very stuffy during the day so when my last Lasko fan broke, I needed another right away. Since it's not really "fan" season I couldn't find anything small like this in the stores but luckily Walmart.com had just what I was looking for. This fan is a perfect size, doesn't take up much space, and is VERY quiet. You can't even tell that it's on. If anyone is looking for a smaller fan for your desk or by your bed at night.... I would highly recommend this one. I don't believe you would be disappointed. :)

I had a need for an electric mini-fan. The description online for this fan said the overall height of this fan was 8". The measurement is indeed 8" - IF the fan is facing the floor. When the fan is directed straight to the front, the height is closer to 11". Be forewarned that it is indeed a good product but but the description is faulty.

I have a ceiling fan in my living room (which is also my study/workroom), but like all ceiling fans it's in the middle of the room, and my desk is off in the corner. That means that sometimes I don't get the benefit from the big fan that I'd like. So I bought this little fan and set it up where it can blow right onto me. It makes a big difference; it pushes a surprisingly large volume of air. And, being all-plastic, it's whisper-quiet. It took me a minute or two to figure out the controls, and I do wonder at the highest speed being in the middle, but that's minor. If you need a personal fan for your desk, your kitchen workspace, your bedroom, this is the one to get.

I am going to use this in the bedroom, and wanted something quiet enough to not drown out my tv, yet give a good breeze. And this will work great. :D It has quite a bit of blow power for such a small fan. And doesn't take up a lot of space. It does seem well made. I have not been disappointed by Lasko fans, typically buying larger ones with remote, and this one seems to not disappoint so far. I do wish they made a smaller fan with a remote, but again this will work for now. For a small fan, it does seem well made sturdy, and the stand I do think will do just fine with what it has to hold. Just started it up today, so not sure of longevity of use, however again we like Lasko fans and they are built to last. But imo if you like gentle air circulation, yet breeze you can feel, and don't want anything too large, I highly recommend this.

I love this fan! I have it on all night in my room. It is very powerful but very quiet. It cools the room very well.

I love this fan It was just what I was looking for. Small enough for any space, but also a very efficient air flow. An extra bonus is that it is extremely quiet. I would recommend this product.

Pretty powerful for a little fan. We bought 2. And they are not quiet. Oh and they move alot since they are so light and the vibrations make it slide

Purchased this fan for my dad while he was in the hospital and he never used it however I used it at home. It was easy to assemble, the fan just snaps into the base and the small storage in the front is nice for small items. What I didn't like about it is that it feels like it made of cheap plastic and is very light weight. In the description it said that it oscillates and IT DOES NOT! It can tilt up and down, that's it. When I used it I placed it on my night stand and I wasn't impressed by the flow of air. It was weak in my opinion even on the highest speed. It was very quiet if you like a quiet fan.

I was looking for an oscillating fan, this fan has no oscillation. The description is slightly deceptive in my opinion, which you asked for by sending me an email.
