My first fan like this went out after 5 years in the winter so I was just using an extra regular box fan. I missed the remote so my lazy self wouldn't have to crawl over the bed to turn the box fan off and on. I finally found this fan being sold again. yay! It still came with a remote. The first night was awesome. The fan was so strong and the white noise was perfect. Oh did I mention it has a remote? I sleep better. This maybe crazy to say but this fan makes me so happy Walmart is selling this. I have been thinking about buying a backup for emergencies. If you are looking for the perfect fan here it is.
I bought the first one of these fans over 5 years ago and it worked great until a power outage caused issues. I bought 2 to replace it, just in case they stop production on this fan. Pros: Powerful, remote control (!), tilt, ability to mount on multiple services (wall, ceiling, etc.) Cons: Louder than other fans, needs rubber feet to keep it from sliding on smooth services (due to the powerful wind thrust), needs a lower low speed (I swear high could power a glider for take-off!) Wish list: Make it a Smart Fan for better remote control! ps Spouse loves it for her hot flashes (LOL)
Highly Recommend This Fan. It was a bit more than I generally pay for - for a 'floor fan' - but im usually buying the "Standard" Boxed Floor Fans and/or Oscalating Fan - purchasing Both types %26 Several times each that during the Summer Months - because they are running 24/7 to try %26 keep cool along with usually running the A/C sparingly. I LOVE this fan!!! Its has a very appealing look to. It has Several Settings that are optional as to the purchasers Taste - they are also digital. I hadnt realized I purchased it - it can be operated by a Remote - so that was an Extremely Pleasant Suprise - im disabled %26 its extremely painful to get up all the time - as needed - to adjust it to my comfortably level. Its Wind Current Output is impressive as I can place down at the end of the hall from my livingroom %26 i can fèel the free flow of the air flow very nicely. It helps regulate the temperature very well. Which in turn i dont have to use my a/c as much at night to keep my house cool. Its Extremely easy to operate %26 figure out - as well as keeping it clean. I wish I woulda bought a couple.
I kind of wish the base was wider for stability. What I really enjoy about this fan is that it comes with a remote control! This is my third one and I love it!
I still have the same fan that I have been using for 15 years. It hasn't skipped a beat! Thought I would buy a new one just in case this one ever kicks the bucket.
I absolutely love this brand of fans this is my third one but this one seems to be broken it is very loud when you turn it on and it rattle when you turn it off they are a great buy but I feel like something is wrong with this one
when box delivered you could see that the box had been opened and retaped. Also when I opened the box the fan inside was damaged. It is clearly a return that was sold as new. I plan on returning it to the store and will not order anything else from walmart that I can not pick up at the store.
due to the delivery driver being in a hurry he threw the box on the porch and broke the fan. The first time my husband turned it on it made noise like the blades were hitting something. after closer inspection it sounded like there was something loose in the motor when it first comes on and when it starts to shut down when you turn it off. it does blow better than the model we had before which was a wind machine. we are returning it today. hoping that they have another one in the local store. we've had a wind machine lasko brand for 7 years and it just doesn't blow as well as this model.
Yeah, I ordered this fan twice, and I wound up returning both fans because they were damaged. When I received them, you could see both items had already been open previously. I did not appreciate you sending me broken fans twice you know the words I am not very happy.
The fan is great. (Sold and shipped by Walmart.com.) I love it. It is a replacement for the old one that stopped working. The issue is what arrived was in a dirty beat up box with large holes in the corners that had been opened before and taped shut with two long pieces of tape going the opposite way across the front and back of the box instead of the long way on the seam at the top like normal. It didn't look used, but the top of the fan where the control buttons are was worn and scratched. Since it works, I am begrudgingly keeping for now since these are hard to find. I may order another and see if a better condition fan arrives so I can return this one if they have any left. Looks like a 'last in the warehouse' pick. I believe they are supposed to be contained in a clear plastic bag in the box, but there was no bag. The remote was in a sealed plastic bag though.
