Bought this to make it easier for my 3 y/o to get soap and wash his hands. It works fine. You can change the settings for how much you want dispensed and it goes with my bathroom décor. It does not take up a lot of space and it does not seem to waste soap. I have it sitting back a little from the faucet so that the sensor isn't triggered all the time. So far so good!
Bought this for my daycare and love it. 100% worth the small price. When I received it I had to cycle the pump to get it primed. I did this around 8 times before it started to dispense, which is normal. I have cheap dollar store batteries in it and after 2 weeks still going strong and remember this is used in a daycare that means it has been ran around 50 times a day. Like I said Love it.
In short...this product functions the way it's designed. Install the batteries...make sure to fit the rubber seal to battery cover properly, fill unit and enjoy. It does not spill soap by accident. You must put your hand or sponge DIRECTLY underneath nozzle before the sensor will activate the dispenser. You can be moving objects near the sensor...but you will not get a false start like some of the other devices advertised here. Also...the predetermined amount of soap dispensed allows for a long time between refills. Remember, the best part is you can refill the device with your choice of liquid soap...you're not stuck purchasing prepackaged soap refills at double the cost. The product is pennies on the dollar to operate! Device is perfect for kitchen, bathroom or work shop.
I love this soap dispenser, I wish there was an adjustment to control the amount of soap that is release at once. To adapt I simply just diluted the soap with water for quanitity control.
I have two other similar soap dispensers in my home from SimpleHuman, this was purchased with a gift card so I decided to give the wal-mart brand a try. I was a little nervous because it was so inexpensive and looked like it could a be a little cheesey-but when it arrived in the mail it was a lot nicer than expect. I was dispointed because I wanted grey-which when I got the box showed as an option, but was not an option online.
i ordered two and only one worked, but it worked very well. i was able to adjust the amount of soap that came out easy enough , but couldn't shut off the machine at all. still , i had to make the trip to the store to return the one that didn't work , a real pain.
I ordered three, two for myself and one for my friend. My two work, my friends doesn't. One of the pros for me is that it dispenses a small amount of soap, prefect for washing hands, but not so good for use in the kitchen washing dishes. The sensor is also VERY sensitive and will dispense soap if your hand or arm gets 'near' it in any way. Be prepared to be cleaning off your counter top often.
YOU MUST NEED A CHEAP, WATERY SOAP TO WORK THIS -DISPENSER. I DEFINITELY WANT TO RETURN IT, THE PRICE IS LOW, AND SO SHOULD BE YOUR EXPECTATIONS. I COULD NOT GET THIS SOAP DISPENSER TO WORK, I FOLLOWED EVERYTHING IT SAID IN THE MANUAL, AT FIRST IT HAD PROMISE, THEN STOPPED WORKING AGAIN. EVERYONE WOULD BE BETTER OFF GETTING SOMETHING MORE HIGH QUALITY.
This is the worst soap dispenser it take at least 10 times waving you hand under sensor to still not getting enough soap to wash your hands. Even after adjusting amount of soap that comes out. The adjustments were vague at best. Really couldn't tell if I increased the amount of soap coming out or not. There was such a small thin line of soap discharge that I took it back for a refund
It never worked! As soon as I received it I put the batteries on it and tried it, the liquid never came out, and it started filtering, I followed all instructions on the manual even though it is pretty easy to put together! After a few tries I tried to take the batteries out and they were all wet with the liquid. Worst purchase ever, waisted money, batteries and liquid !
