Great balance of salt and garlic and I LOVE the green flakes of parsely that livens up the presentation.
This garlic salt from Lawry's was excellent on steaks and chicken to season before grilling. I really liked the taste as it didn't taste too salty and had a decent amount of garlic powder mixed into the salt. I liked this a lot and it went well with both chicken and beef without being overwhelming. It left a lot of room for other spices as well so I think this is a good pantry staple for me.
I received this product for free to review. I made chicken in the crockpot with the Lawry's Garlic Salt and it was amazing. I used boneless skinless chicken breast, the lawry's garlic salt and chicken broth. The flavor was so good and not overwhelming. It made the chicken taste so good and everyone wanted more. I will definitely start using this more frequently with different dishes.
I'm going to lead into this with i don't usually buy salt blends, I tend to use low or no salt seasonings so I can control the salt levels in my food, bit I was given this product and had to leave a review. With that said, I love this garlic salt for certain purposes, makes a great savory popcorn seasoning, love it on pizza, makes a decent finishing salt, but it isn't super overpowering, and my personal favorite lately, I used it to dry brine some chicken that I was cooking for dinner and it did a wonderful job bringing the garlic flavor in to the dish. Now the real question, I was given this but would I buy it again: absolutely.
I tried Lawry's Coarse Ground With Parsley Garlic Salt on chicken breasts and it added great flavor. I sprayed some avocado oil, sprinkled the seasoning on both sides with a few other ingredients, and cooked them in my air fryer. The chicken came out juicy and flavorful. Lawry's has yet to steer me wrong. This is a great pantry staple.
Enjoyed the sample of Lawry's Course ground with parsley garlic salt. Went well with a lot of different meals I cooked including chicken wings, spaghetti and even on my steak. Had a nice flavor and added a great taste. I also tried it on my salad and thought it was great!
I received this product to try and I have been pleasantly surprised. I think this is comparable to other higher quality Garlic Salt products out there that I've tried. I do like the addition of the parsley. I've used this in recipes that call for salt and garlic. My personal preference is that the mix be more garlic than salt and this seems like it's more salt than garlic. I did season some vegetables before roasting them and they turned out well but I did have to use a lot of seasoning. I also tried it with the vegetables raw and it was tasty as well. Overall I would recommend this product (depending on the price) and it's almost 5 stars for me, it would have been if there would have been more garlic than salt.
The Lawry's Parsley Garlic Salt was easy to use and mixed well into my dishes. It seasoned my cooking nicely. You only need a little to make a difference in the taste of a dish. It could have used a bit more garlic as the salt flavor is the most prominent flavor. It has a fresh taste and brings some zest to the food.
6oz and 3 oz are practically the same price. order the 6 oz for delivery and see which they bring you. This is one of the reasons people dont like shopping at Walmart
I was charged for this and did not receive it. I'm not happy about it. As I needed it for my recipe.
