using this for homeschooling and its so much fun
This game is great for my 6 and 5 year old. There are 5 different ways to play it so it doesn't get old quickly, plus you can use it to demonstrate different fraction facts. I would definitely recommend for a fun way to introduce fractions!
This has been a great addition to my classroom in our unit of fractions. The students already love pizza and it is a great visual to learn with.
A fun way for kids to learn fractions
My son is learning fractions and this is a wonderful supplement! He loves playing!
I first used Pizza Fraction Fun in my tutoring when my employer provided it. It became an essential part of my instruction method and I decided that I needed to have my own set to use with my private students. The kids love it and understand so many of the properties of fractions that are difficult to explain otherwise. I wish the box were sturdier, so I am reinforcing mine with clear heavy-duty tape. One drawback: the pizza slices look so realistic it makes the kids hungry!

This is a great game. I have played the cards with my 6 and 8 year olds. After they had tooled around with the cards they started figuring out how one fourth and one fourth add up to half etc. So, I left them alone with a paper and pencil to write down all such observations (adding fractions to total another fraction). They had a great time writing down as many equations as they could find in the peices.
Like the size of the pieces. Basic game, but serves the purpose of introducing fractions with a game board that is interesting for kids.
Product is very educational and the child has enjoyed learning from it.
