Lee Precision 50th Anniversary Reloading Press Kit

I have now become a fan of Lee products, quite frankly I don't buy anything else at this point. I would suggest buy this kit along with the lee reloading manual and 1 or 2 sets of dies, set things up, look carefully at what is included in the kit and then load a few shells. Don't buy any extras until you have loaded up your first batch. I ordered extra things I thought I would need (i.e. primer pocket cleaners, case deburring tools...etc.) and it turns out all of those already came with the kit. I've loaded up a few shells and all works great!

I know many think that Lee Precision are not good but I had no problems with it at all it works great for a good price.

Good buy for someone just getting into reloading. The kit contains all the hardware needed to get started except the die set for your caliber of ammunition.

Fantastic product by Lee! These guys really make a good product! My brother has a hornady press that I have used also. While his is built thicker and stronger it may just be over kill! This lee press does the job nicely and looks like it should last a lifetime!

This is a great starter kit for someone looking to get into reloading. Just about every thing you need is in this kit except for the specific Dies you will need for the caliber you will be loading, a few case prep. items and of course power, primers, bullets and clean cases! I use this single stage press for loading precision .308 loads, I take very special care and time to make sure every round is loaded just right for my needs. Now if I were loading pistol ammo and needed to mass produce ammo I would suggest getting one of the turret or progressive loaders.

This press is perfect for what I need. I reload 30-06 for less than half the cost of new.

Nice set. Although some pieces look cheep, they really function well. I reload several of both pistol and rifle cartridges and all the components work as advertised. If you want extreme accuracy, do yourself a favor and order the Lee dipper set to compliment the set. Remember that most competition loads that win are measured by volume and not by weight. Also, you might want to get the new Auto-Prime. Priming cases with the press works just fine but is tedious and a little too time consuming.

I recently received the Lee 50th Anniversary Challenger Kit for a birthday present. As the box and the description say, it contains everything you need(as far as equipment) except for a set of caliber specific dies. What you will actually need in combination with that is powder, bullets, casings, primers and calipers. The product certainly stands to the reputation of Lee quality, and will serve the beginner and hobby reloader just fine! The cost of this is extremely minimal as opposed to your turret and progressive presses out on the market, so if you're just getting started or don't plan on doing hundreds of rounds at once, I'd recommend this kit to you. WARNING: When I this kit was ordered for me, the product description specified TWO Lee Quick Change bushings came with it. It did not. Word to the wise; this only comes with ONE die and other product descriptions from across the web specify that as does the packaging this product comes in. If you'll be using a three die set, no big deal, order a set of 2 quick change bushings anywhere for <$8. Four dies? Better buy two. Customer Service Satisfaction: Upon notifying Wal-mart customer service that this product did not come as described on their website(Lacking that one quick change bushing), they promptly offered and applied a credit to the original tender. A+ Service from them. Happy all the way around. Overall Review: Buy it. Won't hurt to have as a supplement for experienced reloaders and will suit the needs of any new or hobby enthusiasts.
