I enjoyed putting it together and for me it was very relaxing to work on. Instructions were very clear very easy to understand and I plan on buying more of these types of Legos in the future.
It looks beautiful and very affordable I know my granddaughter is going to love it ❤️
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This Lego set is super cute. Its so fun to put these Harry Potter sets together with my son and as we are both Slytherins, we just loved this one! I absolutely love the big/detailed instructions booklet and how easy it makes e pplverything when constructing the set.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I've always really liked the harry potter books, movies, and lego harry potter video games so I was excited to check this slytherin house banner set out! The build was fun and on the easier side to put together. The instructions as always with lego were top notch. The set has a nice level of detail and looks really good whether you have it open showing the room or closed showing the banner. While right now I only have the one set I can see myself getting the other 3 house banners for a cool display. My only complaint is that when in banner mode is made to hang on the wall and I wish there was an option to let it free stand so I could have the banner showing while on a shelf.
I was expecting a bit more then 2 bags given the price, however I understand that the large 3d panel probably is to blame for that, and might even be worth it, it adds a lot to the look of the set, I might recommend adding a light behind. Unlike other reviews I didn't find the set to be flimsy besides the panel not being secured, it dends to move around quite easily. Overall I think the set is a great display piece and would probably make a good play set for a less destructive kid
This is a cool set and I have now built all 4. The one criticism I would have is that the image at the back is a bit wobbly, especially if you are holding it. If there was just a block over the top, it would stop it sliding out.
I love how it came out, however it was VERY trying as pieces just did not want to snap together and stay. Especially when making the Slytherin logo. The outside probably should’ve been made first. But in the end I got it and it looks cool. I just stored the characters on top when I closed it. But it’ll be displayed open anyways.
We have bought dozens of Lego sets and we have built many. This was particularly delicate and fell apart multiple times. For the first time ever we resorted to gluing key pieces.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Legos are always a fun pass-time and a great destresser. This project took me approximately 2 hours and 3 mins to complete. Quite honestly, this was fun to build, BUT... seems pointless. This is supposed to be a banner that folds up and becomes compact. The way it is designed, doesn't make that an easy feat. I found that it keeps falling apart when you fold and unfold it. Plus, it comes with loose pieces you have to build, but they do not store into the piece. Leaving you with a handful of small pieces with nowhere to go. Overall, it was a fun build BUT, I wouldn't recommend it. Especially for the price tag of nearly $40. Lego offers many other fun builds and options that cost around the same price. The concept was cool but could've been executed differently.
Sadly disappointed in this. Building was fine, although a little fidley. The design is flimsy and once built, it fell apart whenever my son tried to pick it up or open it. He gave up playing with it straight away and was very sad that it didn't turn out how he hoped
