Everything about this purchase was excellent. Interesting information about the Shuttle in the building instructions. Usual fit and finish details were outstanding. Upon looking at everything in the kit the purchase value was great. The ONLY issue I had was my inability to get the stickers on perfectly ☺️

Really cool set!

Jessica September 17, 2025

This is a retired set unavailable at LEGO but was able to purchase here. It's a beautiful set and really cool once it's finished! Was listed for the same price on LEGO so price was right. I am a huge LEGO fan and big collector so was really happy to snag this!

A True Gem To The Original!

Bricktania July 10, 2025

When I was a kid I built the 2003 (7470) Discovery Model set and decided to rebuild it again once I saw this one release. What makes this one special is it is around 20 years later from the original so for me it was a must have. For me, I can't get enough of this model and although some complained about the stickers for the doors, it wasn't difficult for me so I think its just a matter of patience and practice. With that being said well done Lego for making a worthy successor to the original!

Good experience

This was purchased through Walmart 3rd party marketplace. Shipping was fast, well packaged and as described, new unopened. I'd recommend this seller. D

Great Set

Will December 19, 2025

Bought as a gift for someone who used to work on the shuttle program to display in their office. The model looks great displayed and is just the right size. Big enough to get your moneys worth but not too big that it's inconvenient.

Great build, but one key omission.

Daveed75 December 29, 2025

Love the build (still working on it) But there's one glaring omission. There's a blurb in the booklet when you get to the RMS, there is no mention of the Canadian Space Agency's involvement, and also the obvious lack of the actual name, The Canadarm. I'll print my own sticker, but I thought that was a little disappointing.

Beautiful but incomplete set

Mike in Ottawa January 30, 2026

I loved everything about this set and build with one major exception. Where is the Canada markings on the Canada Arm? I have no idea why you would leave out this detail. Without the arm, the orbiter isn't doing much more than orbiting.

Great build but......

Jingles2 May 16, 2021

I enjoyed this build very much, but I echo some of your reviewers who are unhappy that 2 Canada logos were not supplied for the CANADARM. If too small or too curved to produce a sticker, at least print the Canada logo on the 2 center round areas of the robotic arm. I plan on producing 2 small white insulation socks with the Canada logo imprinted on them. Many countries contributed to the USA space program & I think that for realism, the Canada Logo should have been included.

Disappointed, frustrated and flimsy build.

Dizzyla065 April 14, 2025

My daughter is currently building again the Space Shuttle Discovery. Why are they building it again? It came apart in the middle. The tail plane separated from the body and to put it back together it needed to be rebuilt. We have had read some reviews and see a lot of people have had the same issue. I agree it's very flexible especially in the weak point where the wings and tail join the main body. We have rectified this by using other LEGO pieces and small base plates. However we shouldn't have to do this. The weight at each end with no strong structural support in the join from the wings and body is the concern along with some bricks not fitting together very well or as one may say “clicking” as Lego does. I'm somewhat disappointed as I've been saving this build amongst others for when my daughter had an operation and would need to be kept busy for 6 weeks. So far they've spent a week building and then rebuilding this set. It was also missing some bricks but again managed to find these from old Lego I have stored. Technically it's not difficult. The hard part is trying to keep it together without flexing.

Repackaged and unable to give as a gift.

elizabeth March 23, 2026

Bought this for a Christmas gift, but when it arrived it was repackaged. Could not give as a gift so I had to return it and didn't have time to order another one.
