Never watched the show but I was attracted to this set because of the use of colours and detail (particularly the plants). I enjoyed building it. The end product is amazing I love the grey and white colours, there is a lot of detail and a playability features. The mini figures are great; the clothes, their hair are a very much like the actual characters from the show! I added a couple of lights to it which makes it more beautiful. It's worth every penny! Love it!
I haven't built Lego since I was a child but decided to buy the Fab Five Loft for my wife as a wedding anniversary gift. We're both huge fans of the show so she - a Lego virgin - was super happy and excited to build it together. And it didn't disappoint. From start to finish the attention to detail is absolutely brilliant and we couldn't stop laughing all the way through it's construction. The final product is just incredible and there's enough interactive features for us to enjoy looking and playing with it when it is on display. Our only disappointment is that the build didn't take longer - that's not a criticism but testament to how much we enjoyed it. A highly recommended set - and we might just buy some more Lego!
I don't watch the programme but the design of the set grabbed my attention because I thought I could use the pieces to make other room sets. The ideas for this set are so clever, you end up with a classy, sleek build with some amazing ideas for decor. Such clever uses of normal Lego bricks and parts. I love the mullet hair style and all the other minifigures. My favourite item is the fridge. Just a really fun build.
I love this set. It clearly includes more unique and expensive bricks. This adds to the style that the main characters would naturally have in real life. Love it.
First off, the furniture was a blast to build. I didn't try to guess what I was creating and many had a twist at the end that I found entertaining. Reading the Fab Five's commentary throughout the booklet added another plus. I wish they added some weights and books for Karamo's cultural input. Great set!
I love this set. It as a lot of fun to build, it is full of touches details from the original Queer Eye loft. You can feel the love that went into designing this set.
I love this show and really enjoyed how well the Lego set encompassed aspects of the show. So many minifigs and some excellent unique stickers. A very modern looking apartment and I can easily see parts adapted into MOCs. Worth the buy especially for fans of the show.
This set is the perfect slice of a uptown appartment in lego form. It also has the cutest Dog fig. Set is filled with great details you could transplant into other builds also.
I really enjoyed making this set. Lots of little Easter eggs and the character designs are pretty spot on. As someone who recently got back into legos because of the pandemic, I found the build to be very relaxing and not too difficult.
Be very careful. I have great attention to detail but there was nothing until so far in that called out the detail on sides of the bricks that highlight for you to know which side faces inside. Unfortunately had to rebuild major parts of the set completely due to this. I was super excited to have seen this somewhere and bought it, what with the SO MANY unique details that speak to me as a person too, and I'm still glad I did, but the build experience definitely brought the joy of the set way down for me. I would strongly recommend the designers be thinking of key details that need input to the instructions as if they were a customer building it, and if they do, then just please take this as strong, CONSTRUCTIVE feedback. Thank you, Lego!!
