LEGO Minecraft The Nether Bastion Set, 21185 Battle Action Toy with Mob, Piglin Brute & Strider Figures, for Kids, Boys and Girls Age 8 Plus

Great set for my son !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My household is big fans of Lego's and Minecraft so we was very excited to put together The Nether Bastion set. To start with the box had me al hyped up. By looking at it you can tell exactly what all you can do and build. The pieces are high quality and easy to snap together and take apart. Putting them together was so fun. It is nice having this so we can still play with legos & one of our favorite games Minecraft. This gave us our fix without having to be looking as a screen.

I loved how it explains step by step every single detail, that there is no way to miss it. Excellent toy to help children pay attention to details to enhance performances. We did it as a family project in which my daughter (4 years old) would help assemble some pieces as well. Totally recommended.

Legos are a wonderful toy for children. Buy when on sale, and it lasts basically forever. Build what the box intends to guide children however, can use legos for any way the child chooses. It promotes creativity at the hands of the child. promotes focus and fine motor skills. Cannot go wrong with legos. Walmart provides these various kits for the childs imagination. my grandson gets exvited when he gets a new lego box. i love the directions as they are simple, provide a means for the child to make something from step by step colired directions. skills one can build upon as the child gets older.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I think the Lego brand legos are very well made. I particularly love the instruction manuels they add to each box. It makes it so easy for even young children to build the finished project. The lego pieces were separated into numbered packages to make it that much easier too.

I like the set, but it is kind of flat. I am used to hilly sets. I like the way that the bastion is kind of held by the poles which is neat looking. My favourite mini figure is probably the Magma cube because every time you lift its head (its head is the whole body), it breaks into thirds like in the game. I also like the way that the water turned from blue to orange and the fire turning from orange to blue.

Kids loved the mini figures, strider and magma cube. Great for role play. They did struggle some with the assembly. Once it was all said and done, extra points to the magma cube for cool action and durability. The strider looked cool but did not hold up very well during play. Frequently coming apart in different areas. I haven't really liked the TNT action on any of the sets. Not much of a explosion. Overall, I bought it on sale before Christmas for $11. What a steal!! Only found pricing like that at Walmart. Pickup order was ready same day.

Overall this set is great. One thing that I noticed while opening pack 3, is that the Piglin Brute's left eye is a bit scratched. I noticed this as soon as I opened it so must have come like this. It doesn't look nice, so I'm hoping to get a replacement soon.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. As an avid LEGO fan and gamer, this set is a bit too abstract and whimsical for my liking. If it wasn't for the LEGO minifigures, it would be challenging for anyone that isn't intimately familiar with this Minecraft update to have any idea what they're looking at. The finished product hardly resembles a finished product, though it does have a fun interactive element to simulate a tiny explosion. So, unless you're both a hardcore fan of both LEGO AND Minecraft, this is a very unusual build.
