This is one of the sets that needs one of three main figures (Mario, Luigi, Peach) to be fully playable. It adds more fun to the level design presented by the previous sets.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I bought the Super Mario Lava Wave Ride expansion park for my grandson who is obsessed with Mario just like I was in the early 90's. I watched him put it together with little to no difficulty and as he finished his excitement level exploded. He was so happy with it. Honestly, I can't wait for my turn to play! Well done Lego!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I've never tried out the Super Mario Lego sets and this one was a pretty fun build. My 7-year old did it while I watched and she had no issues while using the app for the building instructions. We don't have the starter set but after building this one we'll be grabbing it because she had so much fun with this one. Keep in mind this is a display piece without the starter set to actually play the game.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My son and I love to put Lego sets together and this one is no exception. He loves the Super Mario sets and this is an expansion set to go along with his other ones. The instructions are easy to follow, and it is fun to play with. The swinging part is fun, and is cute with the little flames underneath. It doesn't come with Mario in this kit, but we already had him. I do recommend getting him separately to play with this Lava wave ride. All around a great Lego kit.

This set is fun to put together and adds great fun to the sets! Definitely one of the better expansion packs. As with all the other Lego Mario sets you must have the app to get instructions for building. These step by step instructions really help my son as he puts it together and usually does these all in his own!

We're getting our grandson into legos. He obsessed with Super Mario we have gotten him all the starter sets and most expansion sets and now this set. Can't go wrong with legos!!!

My grandson likes but it's good to know that you'll need a starter kit to go with it. Mario Lego is not included.

It's a fun addition to the game (which my 7 year old really enjoys!!) I'm disappointed that Mario doesn't stick better, he tends to fly off when you really get it going which is frustrating. Fun to build and play though!
