LEGO Technic Formula E Porsche 99X Electric 42137, Pull Back Toy Racing Car Model Building Kit with Immersive AR App Play, Gifts for Kids, Boys & Girls

I have been wanting to revisit building with Lego for some time, and after some considerable research, decided that this would be a beginner-friendly set to start with. I found the build thouroughly enjoyable, and took my time making sure I was following the instructions with exactness -- even then I had to reverse assembly to correct to errors in the initial part of the rear frame and pull-back motor build. What a totally enjoyable kit. The finished product is an excellent rendition in typical Technic fasihon, and while it only has the pull-back motor feature, I am very satisfied with the overall experience. I think I have been bitten by the bug.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this is the first Lego Technic product I have had in about 15 years to say it was amazing is a understatement, It took about 4 hours to build but the level of detail and working parts is great. We have had countless hours of fun with it and the AR function was by far one of my sons favourite bits there are two games you play with your actual Lego car and one information video about Formula E, we will definitely be getting more so we can race them.

The build experience was enjoyable, a good mix of large and small pieces and stickers that were mostly easy to put on, except for the small Puma and Vodafone stickers on the front wheel arches which were a bit more tricky to do precisely. The pull-back system works well and the acceleration is smooth and not too jumpy or quick. A bit pricey for the whole set in my opinion, although that is most likely due to the official Porsche Licencing. The set also accompanies the McLaren Senna GTR well too, another great set.

great build, beautiful final assembly. Any adult or young person will love to add this F1 to their collection.

Awesome looking Lego Porsche! This is a gift for a Porsche enthusiast. The badging of this Lego building kit makes it special. It was acquired while on sale (nice benefit), never knew this Porsche Formula E existed in Lego. This is for an adult, these particular Lego kits, specific to Porsche actually tend to go up in value based upon the Porsche community, so think of it as an investment. Regardless of collecting or playing, it seems cool!

This is a very detailed and well thought Lego car set. Anyone who enjoys Lego's and cars will love it. It is a little advanced and might not be suited for younger children, but teens and adults will highly enjoy it. I would recommend it and will buy other Lego car sets.

Awesome price for this very cool toy. Cannot wait for Christmas for the kids to unwrap it! I'm excited to you about the artificial/augmented reality experience. It will be neat with the retrograde propulsion. Super glad this toy was available on Black Friday savings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of my favourite Lego sets I have completed. I love the fact that it actually has the pull back and go feature so it can actually be played with once completed. I have always been a fan of Lego, it was great to put together, as always great quality. My only negative would be that Lego is very expensive but I cannot complain about the actual item itself. I would highly recommend.

My son and husband enjoyed putting the car together. Lego technic is a little more challenging than ordinary legos but it adds to the fun. Legos are best when they have movement so they can be played with after the build. We ordered some glue to hold it together permanently since pieces get mixed with our other legos after a while. Will also be a great item to display.

Shoppers should know that you add a extra charge onto their purchase. In my case it was an additional $6.99 on to my discounted purchase price. My bill should have been $24.99 plus tax. The extra $6.99 was unexpected and reduced my savings on my Black Friday purchase. Very disappointed with the up charge.
