Very Nice Laptop.

Shawqi November 10, 2025

Honestly, this is a really good laptop for the price. The build quality feels solid and premium, and the performance has been smooth. The OLED screen is the part that really stands out. The colors look crisp, the brightness is strong, and everything just looks more detailed and clean compared to a regular display. It makes a difference when streaming, working, or gaming. The i7 processor and the RTX 5060 handle multitasking and gaming without any issues. I can run multiple programs and heavy apps at the same time and it does not slow down. The 1TB storage is more than enough and the laptop runs fast overall. The fans do kick up during heavy use, but that is normal for a performance laptop. Battery life is decent, not amazing, but expected for a laptop with this much power and an OLED screen. If you plan to use it unplugged for long periods, keep that in mind. For desk use, gaming, and work, it performs great. Overall, I am very happy with it so far. Good value, strong performance, excellent display. I like it. Would recommend.

Best Laptop Ever!

hunter November 5, 2025

The most amazing and jaw dropping display I've ever seen on a laptop or for the matter most desktops! This OLED screen at this price point makes for a killer deal! The performance is unlike any other laptop I've ever had and plays games with beautiful graphics. Temps are amazing! The only side note I would say is the CPU usage and temps will jump up because the AI software trying to balance performance and temps and seems to be slightly buggy but after you set your laptop to focus the dedicated GPU this thing purs at very respectable temps! After hours of use and a cooling pad my laptop can go for 6 hours and still be cool to the touch when I shutdown. 8/10 overall laptop. In the past my experience with laptops were high performance and a display that lacked any wow factor. This one however brings both perfectly bundled together! The only thing bringing this laptop to an 8 out of 10 instead of a perfect 10 is, the audio is not great but works fine, some of the keys on the keyboard are too small, and the USB ports are poorly placed but not terrible. At the end of the day this laptop is a no brained and with 32gbs of ram it will do anything you want it to do!

Great performance

Jason January 27, 2026

I have had this Legion 5i for about a month now. So far I am very satisfied. It has been more than what I have expected. Very nice OLED monitor. It was very easy to set up and get going. The fans make some noise but that is always expected with any laptop. I have heard much louder fans on laptops. It feels like it stays nice and cool. Runs very well with no problems. So far I will definitely consider Lenovo on my next purchase when it's time for an upgrade.

Absolutely Astonishing Gaming and Blender Beast

Jeff February 14, 2026

This laptop is an absolute beast. I work from home, all of this work before I bought this laptop, was done from a Steam Deck! Its all I had! Not even a TV, just that tiny little device that had my entire world on it in a 512gb storage capacity. My workloads became too much for the Steam Deck's APU; Having both graphical and Computational power share the same little 16gb space was very limiting, and the Steam Deck's 8 cores and 12 threads couldn't support my multi-tasking needs. When I got this laptop my entire working life, and personal life changed. Let's start with the monitor: It's fricking huge, LITERALLY! The Lenovo 5i is LITERALLY 4 TIMES the screen I'm used to, not to mention that array of colors that come along with the OLED display. It's absolutely stunning, I've never had a wider refresh rate than 60hz. The screen is absolutely breath-taking. Let's get to the fun part next, the GPU!I have NEVER in my life owned hardware with a proper GPU, all my life I've grown up using laptops with integrated graphics. This GPU is a fricking treat. Before I bought this laptop, I was scouring websites that let you check FPS in games if you specify the hardware. The litmus test in mind I had were three intense games that would suffer on a Steam Deck; Monster Hunter Wilds, Black Myth Wukong, and Oblivion:Remastered. Each of them reported frame rates that I couldn't confirm myself at the time, so I was suspicious! I can absolutely confirm that this GPU, will accomplish ANY of your graphical needs. Monster Hunter Wilds Max settings I'm getting over 60 fps with DLSS features, the other two games I do not own anymore as I refunded them due to the Steam Deck's constraints. Every game I throw at this machine runs beautifully at max settings. As for Blender, I've NEVER had the luxury of seeing the viewport in 60FPS until now and it is a breath of fresh air. Again, with the beautiful display on the laptop, it makes it even better to work with. Rendering is just as quick. Before I had to render on cycles, waiting 30 minutes, sometimes almost an HOUR to render one image. This machine just spits it out. Next lets talk the the CPU! This CPU is a fricking monster, just an absolute task-devouring behemoth of a processor. I am a HUGE multi-tasker. I swear, I'm turning into a tablet kid the older I get because I like to have YouTube in the corner of my screen whenever I work, or play games. On the steam deck I would be using 100% of my CPU just having 1 tab open alongside a game, if I was rendering an images I'd have to close all other applications. I'd baby my steam deck like it was made of glass bones and paper skin, as though one wrong move would make my steam deck crash while rendering through cycles. This laptop WILL NOT give you those issues... She is a multi-tasking monster! She is only limited by her ram. Ram bottle-necked but upgradeable and EGPU compatible. I had more but had to make this short because I ran out of words characters. I'm sorry. Buy this now

5 stars overall

Craig February 24, 2026

Only had it for a month, but it's been fantastic so far. For the price I don't think you could find anything better. The OLED screen is fantastic, and the keyboard is the best I've used on a laptop. I have been able to throw any game at it and it plays it incredibly so far, although the battery life isn't great. I would definitely purchase again.

Great laptop for the price - Gaming Media

Anirudh January 7, 2026

I purchased this laptop to play some dota and counter strike. For this purpose, the GPU is very good. The only let down in this app top can be the Windows operating system - which comes with a lot of bloatware. The screen is also really nice for watching movies. Cons: - Speakers aren't the greatest. - Battery life is OK for a gaming laptop. Invest in a LLano Cooler - it helps a lot (GPU runs at 54C v s 84C)

Battery life typically going to be not so good for an OLED laptop of all things. Still holds up really well regardless of the fact. It's only bad when playing video games but just browsing and watching movies you'll be fine. Then again, you really aren't going to play video games with the charger plugged in with this thing. It's good as an all around laptop and hits all the checkmarks.

Solid beginner laptop but bad CPU temps

Chase April 25, 2026

The legion 5I is a really solid choice for those who are interested in their first laptop/pc. I wanted to build my own pc but lack of space kept me from doing so. Buying a laptop was my compromise. This laptop will run most games you need it too. I can play BO7 and battlefield 6 with a consistent 90-110 fps. The Rtx 5060 really carries the whole laptop. But the Intel 7 cpu really holds it back in my opinion. I wish I would've spent a little more getting the I9. I have a Razer cooling pad I keep my laptop on and yet I still find myself pushing cpu temps 85-90 degrees after only a couple hours of gameplay. This model laptop doesn't have the software to set cpu temp limits which is very frustrating when you want your laptop to last and not run hot. My biggest cons are the cpu temps and the lack of Ram, they only put 2x8 sticks of ram in this. While you can upgrade I would much rather see 2x16's. Overall I'd recommend this laptop. Just make sure you throw in a cooling pad in your cart because without out it your cpu will be melting at your fingertips

Overheats way to much!

johnny December 24, 2025

The laptop is gorgeous BUT it overheats way to much! Just by opening a browser and a game , it states the laptop has one gpu at 95 percent heated and the other gpu at 45 percent heat. The battery plug has to be plugged to the back of the laptop which sucks, why did they put that plug outlet there right next to the fanss? So hot air is just blowing where it needs to be plugged seems dangerous. I even bought a cooling fan and it cant even cool it down. Performance is amazing though. But also the battery plug brick thing gets way too hot. Battery life also sucks!! My old Lenovo Y700 i used to game on never heated up like this. For the price I expected more! I am thinking about returning it

This computer comes with a faulty MediaTek WiFi Card. If you buy this I highly suggest replacing the WiFi card immediately because the included WiFi card has known connection issues. I cannot recommend this computer because of this issue.
