Lenovo Slim DVD Burner DB65

So far it works great. It didn't work in one of the ports, so I tried another one and it worked fine. So far, I'm pleased with it.

The package had a dvd to download the software to transfer the cd's I had to my computer and then I was able to transfer the music to my computer. I transferred over 1000 songs to my computer without any issues.

I love that "bloatware" is optional rather than already installed. The matte screen eliminates glare and that is a must for my eyes. I ordered an external DVD drive from Lenovo right away at a good price and it arrived quickly. I've been using the computer for about a month now and love the speed and functionality so far. I have had no trouble and no need for support. I am a very happy customer!

This drive helped me download all my 48G of music from my CD's to my laptop. I know everyone is into streaming their music but I am still old school and have cd's. Without this portable drive this would never have gotten into my computer and yes I still use DVD's for movies.

Wow! So glad I ordered the DVD Burner DB65 for my Lenovo computer. I needed the external player inorder to access many of my software that operate from a CD and to install some software. The player worked perfectly and I look forward to years of service from it.

Love this burner. The very first burner I bought on Walmart.com was inexpensive, but junk. Had a hassle returning it when I brought it back to the local walmart-- which with some adieu finally accepted it (even though it was a "Walmart Market" item). Bought this Lenova---beautiful! Bought another as a spare! You get what you pay for in this instance.

It was pretty cheaper than expected and I was waiting to see what exactly I bought that cheap. I can't complain because it is doing exactly what it said it was going to be doing.

It does the job - with that I have no quibbles. The tray feels a bit flimsy, but as I will not be using it all day, every day, so that does not matter. The connections lead could be a bit longer (an extra 10 cm would be nice). The delivery time was blisteringly fast - less than 48 hours from purchase click to knock on the door. And that was coming from Holland to Norfolk, England!

Very compact, well built, easy to use, and high quality. Appears to be well worth the price in my initial experiences with it. Would be better if they packaged it with software to play DVD's, but such software is widely available and free. Very pleased.

That's about all I could say about it. It's hooked up to my Lenovo lap-top. It wasn't easy to set up although thinking that it would be seeing how both are made by the same company. The included disc really didn't seem to e as I had to get another app to get it to work.
