Works fine on Ford Triton V8 engines. It won't prevent the plugs from breaking off in the head but that's Ford design problem and not a fault of the spark plug socket.

This product is very well built and most universal extensions built on a swivel have a square swivel joint but this one is round for a lot smoother pivoting, really well thought out design. I am impressed. Oh and I have worked on vehicles for about 50 + years .

Don't know how I would've gotten to the last two plugs on my '06 Ford truck without this. There is no way I would've been able to get a straight socket/extension back to where the last plug on each side of the engine resides on the 5.4 V8. Both are basically under/behind the firewall on the truck. This tool made it easy to remove and install, and is magnetic, so when the plug is unthreaded, it holds onto it while you remove it from the block.

Great product, works just as described! Used it to perform my spark plug maintenance here at home and this tool was the perfect tool as well as the angle needed to remove the spark plugs at the back of the engine blocked somewhat by the vehicle sheetmetal.

Works well for the hubs! Nice and secure lock on the spark plugs, and great for truck owners. We have several tools from this brand and all of them are well made and sturdy! Hubby is thrilled that the tools are the size they say they are - i.e. a tight and accurate fit! He is thrilled with the weight of the tool, and the way you can angle this to fit in those tight spots - it isn't too big to fit in those tight engine spaces. Highly recommend this brand, and this is a good spark plug tool.

It comes handy to take out those sparkplugs that are hexagonal and does the job exceptionally.

I bought it last year, finally got the chance to use it. It looks good and has a strong magnet. However, when I try to use it on a 2012 toyota corolla, the lip will stuck on the tube, can't get it in there. I have to borrow my coworker's. I won't recommend it, if u want it for 2012 corolla.

Thought this was going to be a great tool to make easier work of changing my spark plugs. Second plug in and the thing broke. I really expected better quality with all of the good reviews. Now I have to find another socket to remove the plugs from my truck.UPDATE: Updated to 4 stars because of the outstanding customer service. It would have been nice to not have the first tool break, but the urgency and attentiveness of customer service was above and beyond. I appreciate it and it's nice to see a company strive to make their customers happy.
