Customer Insights: Rated 4.4/5 from 350 reviews.
Pros: - 240hz Refresh rate and compatible with both FreeSync and G-Sync. Something you have to experience with your own eyes to understand. - OSD Menu is easily navigable and has a simple and intuitive layout. Good colour setting options. - IPS panel has good colour reproduction and great viewing angles. No backlight bleeding. - Very crisp for a 1920x1080 display at 27” if you're sitting at a fair distance from it (I'd recommend about 50cm as a minimum). - Good deep blacks and great contrast. - Small bezel nearly non-existent. - The coating on top of the panel that spreads over the bezels makes the display pop out. - Good amount of connectivity offering 1x DP 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0, 2x USB 3.0 (and 1x Up Stream) and 1x headphone jack. - Fairly good stand with quick-connect that doesn't require tools to install. Cons: - Stand doesn't allow swivel. Summary: Initially I was a bit sceptical about this monitor as it was 27” at full HD resolution. But I took the leap anyway and tried it out. I can only say that from the moment I turned it on I was not disappointed and, actually, was left amazed by it. I have it right by a 2K 27” display and I can't tell the difference in resolution when I'm sitting ~50cm away. First of all, the way it's built it makes it look like the image is popping out of the screen and makes me immerse myself better in what I'm watching. The colour reproduction is on par with a good IPS panel with rich colours, deep blacks and virtually no backlight bleeding. The box contains all you need to connect it to your PC so no need for additional accessories for a basic setup. It has great connectivity options with a few video inputs (2x HDMI 2 and 1x DP 1.4), 2x USB 3.0 outs and a headphone output. The stand isn't the best out there, but it fits the necessary requirements. The design has subtle gaming accents, but it can easily pass in a business environment as it's not overly stated. It's not as flimsy as other reviews make it out to be (I don't see how you would rock your display without touching it – unless your desk wobbles which means you should change your desk). The only gripe I have with it would be that you can't swivel it, but that's not a massive downside. I am using it with an AMD GPU and FreeSync works like a charm. It is G-Sync compatible if you do have a NVIDIA GPU. HDR10 is ok, but I'm not a great fan of it in general. I don't play a lot of FPS games, but it works well with everything else regardless. All in all, I am very satisfied with the display and I will probably get a second one in the near future after I'll change my desk to fit a third monitor. As it stands, I am using this one as my daily driver as it's great with all types of media content.
It's great it came quick it doesn't have sound tho
It is very nice and perfect size to play games such as fortnite and fifa, it get 120fps on my ps5
It is amazing I bought it for 150$ and it's 144 hz! It was a great deal and it has crosshairs to choose from options very easy to set up in on Xbox and I'm running 120hz with ez no delay very good monitor it said it was coming on July 18th and came on the 14th! Great shipping as well 5stars you should but it!
Great quality. Worth the money and came with its own HDMI wire. Great for gaming and it's easy to put together.
VERY GOOD PRODUCT WITH LOW PRICE. BUT ONE TODAY YOU WILL NEED
I wanted to replace my previous monitor, which I loved, that had an unfortunate accident with the cat. After spending a week, looking over specs, sizes, brands, etc. I decided on this LG monitor. I'm very pleased with the performance a month out. I didn't use the stand that was provided, since I purchased a monitor swing arm for my computer desk. It mounted perfectly on it and I'm very pleased. Colors are great, it's nice and bright and has multiple options to fine tune the display to your liking or you can use some of the presets in the menu. My favorite feature is the auto brightness, based on what is displayed on the monitor. Since this monitor's main use is as a work/home computer monitor, no gaming, I was hesitant to order this, especially since it was above what I had budgeted/wanted to spend, but I'm glad I did. I'm very happy with it and highly recommend it.
This Monitor offers everything you need, fhd resolution for 24" Monitor is perfect. It is sharp and the color accuracy is also good enough sothat you can use it for editing also. Also, it supports both Nvidia G-Sync and Amd Free-Sync you will feel good while gaming with this monitor, also the 180hz feels smooth with it's 300 nits brightness it is a gem under 11k. It offers HDR10 also which will enhance your viewing experience. I will suggest to use hdmi 2.1 cable to experience all this features perfectly. This monitor is adjustable like it offers height adjustment, pivot and all. Go for it, it's a good monitor.
It's been kind of a pain getting it to look as good as my first monitor. The color scheme just seems to be really ugly in one area, no matter how much I mess with the settings. When there's a fade of colors (for example, gray at the top that fades to black at the bottom), it doesn't look smooth at all - there are clear, visible bars you can see in the fade, if that makes sense. I've attached a photo to show what I'm talking about. I'm also having trouble with the color black - there's a lot of green there. I've been messing around with settings for quite a while, both in the PC and the monitors own built in settings. It's just been an annoyance. Other than that, it's an alright monitor.
I brought this item 70 days ago. I was happy thinking great! i got a bargain. the price seemed perfect. little did i know that i would soon be greated by a little friend. 70 days in i get a dead pixel. i think okay. maybe it would go. It stays. then i think okay. thats fine its a problem. i will be able to return this. then you read the warranty. you need 4 dead pixels to return this item, on top of that you pay shipping. I would say if you want a reliable monitor. this is not the choice. Get this if you need a second fast monitor. i dont think i will ever buy from LG again after this, which is a shame cause in the past i would have brought multiple of their products and even reccomended this monitor to someone who needed a new cheap monitor. just remember this is 70 days down
