LG 24,500 BTU 230V Window Air Conditioner with Remote Control

works great and is very quiet. the setup instructions were pretty confusing in some places, and the illustrations were so small they were of no help. I ended up getting the manual online and then blowing up the pix so I could what they were talking about. the unit itself is first rate, based on my 12 hours of use so far.

The customer service at walmart.com was easy and efficient. My local Walmart customer service was also excellent. The LG surpassed our expectations. Its so quiet my wife asks why I turned it off. It cools very nicely our enclosed patio thats approx 500 sq feet. Very happy with this product.

This is our 2nd LG. The first one lasted at least 10 years. We looked online and found it. We arranged for free store pick up after reading other reviews as to condition units arrived in when delivered to your home. Good advice as our unit was in perfect condition. Unit is quiet and performing great.

We have LG window units and absolutely love them. We have had them for over 10 years. I recently purchased this window unit and absolutely love it. It is quiet, easy to use and cools like an arctic blast. I have to put the temp on 76 and low fan and I still need a little blanket sometimes. It is awesome!! The fan pushes the air a great distance and it is still cold when it gets to me. Love it. Would highly recommend. We have had LGs for over 10 years and have been happy with all of them.

great price, slight hum, but quiet, bad design when trying to screw side blinds to side of air conditioner, holes are there and it lines up with blind, but its on the inside fold of the blind to screw it with screw, also fortunately I had extra longer same size screws and used mine, what they provided was to short........that was my only troubleshoot, once in and powered up, works like a charm. wife is happy

Works great except that it's never gotten all the way down to 60. Typically it keeps the room about 63 according to my thermometers. I mounted it at a slightly higher angle downward so the water would't splash onto the fan ring which would have driven me nuts, but I don't think that's the issue, the compressor stops when it "thinks" it's at 60 but it's not. It pretty much stops compressing when the room gets to about 63. Still far better than the other one I had from GE which would only get to 66 then shoot down to 62 and slowly warm back up. The service tech said that was within specs. Unreal! PS: My room is under the sq ft of what the unit is supposed to cool with no interference from anything.

I love the AC unit. There is a little drain plug that lets water run out where you want it. The only two problems I have had so far are that it had multiple ascetic damages when it arrived. The top and right side were dented and the outdoor heat exchanger grill had minor imperfections. I don't think these are huge deals if you are using the unit on a second floor but I think it takes away from how good it looks without damage if someone sees it up close. Also, a lot of little flys were inside the outdoor part after the first night. I don't know if this is normal for window AC units. I think they need to package this better for how much it weighs. The delivery driver left it on its side because it is honestly too much weight for one person to handle safely.

LG Window air conditioner came dented. Big gap where the bottom of the window meets the top of air conditioner. The front corner piece of the front of the air condition with the grill piece does not align on the left top corner. I am not happy. Fast delivery.

If I could give it no stars I would. This Ac arrived 2 days early, which is great but the good stops there. I had a 5000 btu in my bedroom that cooled it with the door closed, so I bought this 12000btu by LG thinking it would cool the whole upstairs but it doesn't even cool my bedroom where I had the smaller ac. It has absolutely no cool power and it shutdown constantly at night over and over leaving me sweating like crazy. I only had it less than a week but we are in a heatwave and all the stores are out of AC so you have to order and have the shipped to your house. This AC is massive and bulky but I have to try and return it back to Walmart. Even the price was Ok but no more LG garbage ill stick with the off brands. Don't buy this AC if you're trying to stay cool. By the way my bedroom is less than 300sq ft.

Just opened the box, installed the unit, and it sounds as loud as an airplane! The neighbors even said they can hear it from their upstairs bedroom, I can't return it because my return date was only for 30 days! Most items can be returned within 90 days, and I didn't open it sooner because its still was snowing here up until two weeks ago!! I have been a loyal Wal-Mart customer for years, and I will never shop there again for any high ticketed items! What a bust !!!!!
