It's a top TV. After having to struggle with casting to our previous 17-year-old set it's all so simple now. Picture quality is great and the sound bar adds another dimension. It's also good with a quick start-up, no waiting for a warmup. The grandchildren were right it was time for a change.
The soundbar sounds fantastic as well as the tv and pairs perfectly with the tv!! The sub is deep and great sounding and buying it “now”, with the sale's, what a great price for the tv and sound bar. Just couldn't be happier with this purchase. The sound bar also links to my iPhone through bluetooth for great sounding music through Spotify etc.
Very Good Soundbar from LG. Balanced sound good for Movies & Music. Dear Team, If possible give an option in LG Thinq App to pass original audio to soundbar along with current options which process it (AI Sound Pro, Bass Blast etc.) Thank you.
We have a OLED LG tv and the dialogue was sometimes hard to understand. With this soundbar system the voices are much clearer and the overall sound is a much more immersive experience. The fact that it turns on and off with the tv and the volume is adjusted with our Apple TV remote makes it that much better (using the eARC Port on he tv for the speaker). We watch everything through the AppleTV, so it is seamless and the remote has very few buttons. You can make adjustments to the sound through the included remote or the app. 10 out of 20 for a reasonably priced soundbar system.
Easy set up though app a little tricky. Bass %26 treble adjustment via app. Good depth of sound. Woofer can be placed 1-30' from soundbar. Woofer automatically pairs up when plugged in. We like the different choices of audio available from cinema, bass blast, AI pure choice to sports.
I spent lot of time in reviewing it before buying. Saw different videos, asked Chatgpt. But when used it for 2 weeks, I feel very dissatisfied. It is just like an ordinary sound bar. Doesn't work well with LG TV, I tried all possible settings in TV and Sound bar. But didn't get good sound output. There is no base in any mode even in Base++ mode. Movies with 5.1 contents on OTT produce normal sound effect. Rear speakers work as normal speaker produce same sound as other speakers. No 5.1 effect, no base, no cinematic experience. Regret my purchase
Very complicated to work. Treble not achieved and sounds sound muted, foggy, muffled. Tried to return but had missed the return period by nine days. Said that 30 days are from order. I didn’t receive it until seven to ten days after order. Would not take it back. Very disappointed in product and will not recommend it to anyone. Wasted money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it works, the sound quality is genuinely very good and it is a clear upgrade over the TV speakers. Initial pairing with the LG TV was also straightforward. The problem is reliability and day to day usability. Power on behaviour is temperamental. Sometimes turning on the TV does not properly wake the soundbar, so I end up needing the soundbar remote to switch it on or prod it into the right input. On top of that, the TV occasionally needs to be reconnected over Bluetooth again, and the audio mode can randomly change from the expected TV plus Bluetooth setup to Bluetooth only. In practice, this defeats the main point of an integrated setup. Ideally I should be able to use a single remote and have everything just work, but it often feels like I have to use both the TV remote and the soundbar remote to get consistent audio. Controls are also not very user friendly. I can adjust balance on the TV, but I would expect a proper webOS app or deeper integration that lets me control the soundbar settings directly on screen. Instead I am left fiddling with a small remote and awkward voice style menus, which is not what I expect from a premium product. Brilliant audio hardware, but the software integration and control experience need improvement.
I paired this sound bar with a 3 year old LG TV in the hope to improve the 10watt downward facing speakers in the TV. This sound bar has little impact to the intelligibility of the audio. I would not have purchased the sound bar if I knew the outcome was the same. The only real difference is the subwoofer ads low frequency which I wasn't after.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keeps getting disconnected from tv.. have to take hdmi cable in and out to get it connected as it keeps loosing signal
