It is perfect, like to the minute details, it was perfect, from packing to display everything is top notch, i decided to purchase monitor from lg after losing 23k on a random aandu paandu monitor supplier and I gotta say purchasing from lg is my best decision i am very pleased from this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is the first time that I have used a curved monitor - but I'm finding it very easy on the eyes. Setup was easy with just a single HDMI cable. The display is clear and crisp. If I had any bad to say about the monitor it is the position of the controller joystick. With the 27" model (which I have), there is no speakers for audio playback so I'm using a small soundbar; but with the soundbar in place, under the monitor, I have to move it to get to the joystick. Having said that, it is a minor price to pay for the display that I've now got

Let me start off by saying that I was completely blown away at the picture quality of this monitor..running a ps5 1440p at 120z playing god of war and omg it’s amazing!! Haven’t messed with any settings but the vivid option is stunning. Just have to turn off the hdr on the ps5 because this monitor doesn’t have great hdr but with it off it’s Fantastic..Great blacks..overall got this for 200$ including tax and I feel like this monitor is double that if you can get it on sale I think this is a solid option for any gamer

I was looking for a 27 inch 120hz monitor, and found this amazing value instead. Don't let the VA panel scare you, the viewing angles are just fine (my 55 inch television is VA and looks great). Colors are less saturated than an IPS monitor; but it offers a mode to add some oomph to non-HDR content. Black levels are not quite OLED level, but definitely better than IPS; especially nice when the lights are out. Freesync/Gsync and HDR work great with PC. PS5 runs fine on it as does my Mac mini. The best part is the screen is large enough that I can run at the full 2K without having to scale the desktop just to read the font. Protip: reduce sharpness a bit to make fonts look nice and smooth. Note the stand is angle adjustable but not height adjustable (My understanding is the 32GN650 has a better stand; but is otherwise the exact same monitor) and there are no built in speakers; but these were features I wasn't looking for in particular.

Amazing monitor for $170. I had the nano Version from best buy and tbh it's literally the same thing and looks amazing. One of my favorite monitors after you tune the settings. Bright, Sharp, good Black level, good contrast and color. I saved over $200 thanks to walmart because my Nano from best buy costed $450. Highly recommend getting it from Walmart trust me it's literally the same thing as the Nano.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good colour control settings, strong dci p3 although quite a pain to calibrate. Unfortunately not possible to use srgb mode, as it locks 90% of settings. HDR400 is fine but mid enough that I may just never use it. Coming from a clean, consistent TN screen (that had wonderful clear text), the viewing angle is just atrocious on this-are all IPS like this? Looking straight on, the corners and notably bottom have a strong almost-vignette effect, never quite feels right. Bunch of light bleeding and tint. Half a dozen stuck pixels when on black but usually not noticeable otherwise.

nice monitor very large size, a little too bright compared to my old one but my eyes will adjust. The only complaint is... I bought it for use with Lightroom and the HDR function. Unfortunately you cannot calibrate any settings when HDR is on which makes it worthless for that. Otherwise it works well but the HDR is really a gimmick on this one.

Monitor works fine (in a quiet sort of way) but have had a few bad surprises along the way. Three issues so far - a typical VESA mount blocks the monitor connectors, LG website says "yes" speaker but none (I guess they mean a headphone jack), and the tranformer is mounted on a three prong plug and is massive so limits flexibility. The biggest disappointment so far was the connector locations for the VESA mount - they are too close to the center of the monitor back and stick straight out rather than down. Better find a very tight, small VESA mount if want it to work well (if they exist) or super spacers beyond my comfort level (already doubled up) with longer screws then what comes with the VESA mount (manual did not say how deep the screws could go so also did not want to experiment too much). Next up, the power cord  where I had to drill a large hole in the metal VESA plate to get that not to interfere. Once all that was done, I tried a Chromecast to watch some shows on my monitor, which is when I learned about the lack of speaker (maybe you read on the LG website but it did not make it to the store website). Finally (so far at least), and this one is more on me, I had bought an articulating arm for the VESA mount so could turn the monitor. I was hoping to mount an extension cord on the arm or back of the monitor only to minimize cords being articulates too only to see the massive transformer (vertical down and not a 90) and a three prong. Monitor seems to work alright so far, although no sound - almost laughing now as my laptop is confused because it also thinks that the monitor should have a speaker because it is an external HDMI. Any case so much for reducing cord.

I have heard complaints about the monitor stand but for a monitor this size, a VESA mount really is the way to go. The menu is easy to use, and when you're playing a game in a well lit area it looks great. But as soon as it gets slightly dark in a game, the black smear effect is so horrific it feels like the frame rate drops to 60 fps. In the attached pictures I entered an indoor area and it's like I had a drunk effect attached to my screen. Everywhere I turn there is a very noticeable motion blur effect. It is actually unplayable in my opinion, I don't know how this monitor has such good reviews. This is a problem with VA panels, but I thought it would only be slightly noticeable in certain instances.

Extremely dark display regardless of brightness setting. Tried with HDR on and off with little change. The black smearing is very bad especially in dark scenes. I do not recommend. I highly recommend getting a TCL 4K HDR 43”. Much better in quality and brightness and very comparable in pricing. Do not waste your money on this trash LG “gaming” monitor
