This LG Smart TV has so many features and extra channels and apps that competitors don’t have. Great picture and price! Once I got the TV out of the box it took me about 20 minutes to set up including installing apps and using my paid streaming services. This is my third LG Smart TV and I haven’t been disappointed once.
I read some reviews where in person said it was difficult to set up but I disagree. The TV offers a lot of different platform options like apps/cable/satellite, all which require additional set up but these are necessary steps for any new TV. I am currently having an issue with not being able to sign into Disney but this is the only issue so far. The picture on this TV however, is perfect! We looked at this TV next to the other ones in the sotre and it was definitely the best picture. This TV has made a huge improvement to our bedroom!
We have a 49" version that is 2020 LG. When our 55" Samsung curve died we were almost happy. So we got the 55" LG and wow very impressive and i love WebOS. The thing to know is it has only 1 usb port and 2 hdmi ports.
This was the cheapest tv of this size I could get and the picture still looks great. Tv was light to move and super thin. I have zero complaints. Would for sure buy another one
Awesome TV that we all love so much. Great great visual quality, and the sound is so good I haven't bought the sound bar I planned to get. LG Channels are really good, too, easy to navigate. In the beginning the LG user interface was cumbersome but I've gotten used to it and I appreciate it, though Appps seem a little sluggish compared to other TVs.
I had a previous LG TV for 12 years and the picture was great. Sharp and clear. Decided it was time for a newer TV. This television has the worst picture ever. Maybe that’s why it was so cheap. This is going to be returned. Now I have to get out there and look and find the best picture. Actually a better picture. I don’t go out much so I watch a lot of TV. There’s no way I could sit and watch the television for more than an hour. I have to squint to see anything.
Needed a new TV to replace one after about 4 years, Screen on VIZIO went screwy. After fighting with SquareDEAL and getting my refund, headed off to Walmart for a look-see. This is a basic TV and the Picture is not bad for the price. However, I just agree with one of the other comments here posted by Harry. It is advertised as a Smart TV with Alexa. It is NOT Smart until you purchase the Smart remote, basic remote does not have a Microphone for Alexa's Voice activation service. Basic remote dose not have a very friendly interface for input. Small dark buttons, tiny, unclear labels and worthless in a darken room. Layout if crazy and all buttons seem to lead to HOME. Again as Harry mentioned the Customer Response from LG is 'now pay for the extras". Haven't seen this kind of Customer Service since HP started selling there cheap printer to upgrade the cost of ink. There response to my email follows: Thank you for reaching out to us about purchasing the Magic remote for your TV. I’m sorry to hear about the situation and I completely understand how disappointing this must be. I'd be glad to assist you today. Checking your TV model 55UQ7070ZUE specifications, this is compatible with Magic remote, unfortunately you need to purchase separately. I have to wonder in any real life, oxygen breathing life-form has even seen the original request. Seems anymore that Customer Service and Satisfaction is myth. Life is NOT Good and I will now shy away form any other LG Products - do not buy this without considering its additional cost to make it into a real and function Smart TV. My fault for not finding Harry's comment before purchase. Again no more LG for me!
If it hadn’t taken so much time and energy I would return this tv. I wish I would have read more of the one star reviews I would’ve known if I bought this tv I’d have to spend $50 for a remote to control it properly. Some of the channels look blurry and it takes a few seconds for it to focus. See photo The remote that comes with it had buttons that do nothing. Consider reading up on this model and look for a different tv. I ordered the $50 remote only because it would be too much of a headache to take it off the wall. I paid for help to put it up. It’s 55”. Hoping the remote makes it simpler to operate. Been awhile since I purchased a new tv took almost an hour before I could actually watch it, after programming in my email, bday, passwords, email verification codes etc. ridiculous! What happened to the day of buying a new tv, plugging it in and watching?
I purchased this TV and I took it out of the box the screen was cracked real bad also no remote was in the box I took it back to Walmart the sad part is they didn't want to give me a refund or exchange I lost out on hundreds of dollars that's how Walmart does their customers very dirty I just want other customers to know this before you buy a TV from there open the box and make sure it's not cracked and all the pieces are there.
I was so excited for my TV to arrive because it was a surprise for my husband and kids—a new TV in the family room. Unfortunately, the TV arrived damaged. It was cracked, dented, and missing a piece on one end. I called customer service, and she blamed it on FEDEX, but honestly, I don't see how the TV could have the damage it did because it was packaged pretty well. I think it was a return that someone damaged, boxed it back up, and returned it like nothing ever happened, or that box was dropped/slammed and put through a lot before it arrived at my home via FedEx. I'm very disappointed, and now I have to wait for FedEx to pick the TV up, ship it back to Walmart, and wait for them to receive it before they send me a new one. I'm thinking about canceling the order and being done with it.
