LG New 24,500 BTU 1,500 Sq Ft Window Air Conditioner, White

Very large unit. Fit's in a framed wall hole with outside support platform. Made originally for a window. Will fit a wall frame 26" wide, 17 3/4" high, and 29" deep. Our home had a 16 1/4" high opening, so some modification was needed. It's easy mentally, but it takes four people to mount it in the wall. Three to lift it into place inside house, and one to guide it on outside of house to make sure it sits on the platform correctly. Once in, it's can be a bit loud if you are not used to having an AC, but it is quieter than others. Hope this is helpful.

we have a huge big bay window in livingroom, rest of the house stays somewhat cool, so I purchased this for 2 reason. see if it would help cool whole house better %26 2, help with electric bill.. we cut a hole in wall to hide it %26 buy the time we put it in, it was September, purchase in july... so i cant tell if it made a difference with money,, but cooler- 1000% cooler for that livingroom %26 whole house! we have a Regular outside AC unit but this was the 2nd one %26 multiple breakdowns... my choice was setting in the dark or be warmer, sorry buy im not setting in the dark.... anyway, it has remote. I purchase 5yr warranty. So far, love it!!!

works great keeps the house nice and cool and don't run the power bill up much. I love it.

The Air conditioner arrived as promised. The box was in decent shape. However, the AC holder was dented on the top and bottom. This had to be done in the factory! Not sure how it passed inspection. Should have been priced as a dent and ding item.

The AC is fine and good buy; however, the delivery was delayed-delayed beyond what was initially promised. Supposed to be next day delivery but took several days. I had to be home to sign for the product so it entailed going nowhere for those days. When FEDEX delivered the product--the driver was not happy with having to deliver such a heady product and was kinda rough getting it my house. This AC is quiet--cold air in a large room--too big for a single small bedroom

Unfortunately, I can't leave a review on how it worked or how it sounded. Because FedEx dropped it on the side and left it and we had to leave it outside. Laying, flat like it was supposed to be shipped. So the oil and freon wouldn't leak out. And then when we brought it in and unboxed it, it was damaged from being dropped. The coils were bent.

I give this A/C ZERO STARS. I'M CURRENTLY HIGHLY UPSET, ANNOYED, UNSATISFIED, AND DISGUSTED ABOUT THE WAY WAL-MART, ALL STATE, AND LG ARE CONDUCTING BUSINESS. THIS A/C WENT OUT LAST NIGHT AROUND 8PM. I CALLED THE 24/7 CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE AND WAS TOLD CENTER NOW CLOSED, TRIED TO NAVIGATE THROUGH THE CHAT CENTER AND WAS REDIRECTED TO HOME PAGE OR I RECEIVED A PAGE ERROR MESSAGE. SPOKE WITH A LIVE REP TODAY WITH WAL-MART AND WAS TO CALL THE 1-800 WAL-MART NUMBER AND MONEY WOULD BE REFUNDED ( ABSOLUTE WAIST OF TIME) AND WAS TOLD TO CALL LG. SPOKE TO LG REPRESENTATIVE AND WAS TOLD THEY'D NEED TO SEND OUT A TECH TO LOOK AT THE UNIT ( OKAY WHAT TIME SHOULD I EXPECT SAID SERVICE) TO ONLY BE TOLD OH WE DON'T GIVE OUT ETA'S OR DATES BECAUSE IF FOR SOME REASON WE ARE UNABLE TO MAKE IT TO YOUR DESTINATION WE CAN BE HELD LIABLE. SIR ITS 90 DEGREES OUTSIDE, PLUS I HAVE FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS TO MAKE AND PLACES TO BE FOR THAT, PLUS I HAVE ASTMA, WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE CAN'T DISCLOSE THAT INFORMATION?!!! I'VE TRIED TO CALL ALL THE INSTITUTIONS AND NO HELP, SO NOW IM FORCED TO GO BY YER ANOTHER A/C WHICH ISN'T CHEAP, MISS A DAY FROM WORK ALL BECAUSE YOU ALL ARE DRAGGING YOUR FEET. I BET YOU DIDN'T HAVE AN ISSUE TAKING MY MONEY FOR THE PRODUCT AND WARRANTIES. BUT YOU HAVE A PROBLEM GET A QULIFIED TECHNICIAN HERE TO SERVICE IT OR GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK SO NOW ALL TOGETHER ILL BE OUT OF DARN NEAR 2 GRAND ONE ON A 2 MONTH OLD UNIT AND THE ONE IM BUYING TODAY OH AND I DIDN'T INCLUDE A DAY OFF WORK AND GAS MONEY. I AM HIGHLY UNSATISFIED AND WILL NEVER BUY A LG PRODUCT AGAIN AND ILL HAVE QUESTIONS NEXT TIME BEFORE BUYING EXTENDED WARRANTIES.

I thought that this unit would cool my entire first floor as it is a straight kitchen/dining room/living room floor plan.i had no expectations that it would cool the 2 bedrooms that are also on the first floor...unit is in the dining room window..so..center room in the middle of the house. Dining room is freezing and kitchen and living room are still hot. Set actually to 64 degrees...thermostat is roughly 8 feet away from unit and it never got below 74.degrees in the living room. I will also say that the living room windows are closed draped with thermo backing AND is usually quite cool as there is a tree which shades that part of the house. Also have another tree that shades the kitchen space and part of dining room. House should be MUCH COOLER WITH THIS UNIT..AND IT IS NOT! AS I AM STILL MAKING PAYMENTS ON THIS PURCHASE...
