Longevity has never been good on the 2nd gen SmartThings motion sensor so don’t expect these batteries to last long. Any brand of battery I have bought has been the same so why not buy the cheapest. The problem is more SmartThings than the battery.
This is a great bargain if you have a Hidrate Spark 3 water bottle. If you don’t have one of these bottles you need one! It will glow to remind you to drink water, the app calculates how much water you need to drink daily based on weather and your body measurements. Also when you meet your water goal there’s like a mini light party.
The battery seems well packaging. Maybe the expired or outdated being sent to me as I don't see a date on the package or battery. It showed about 3/4 of battery when 1st inserted in the gadget and it only last for few weeks? I have tried 3 batteries so far.Updated 4-13-22: They are great seller as they apologize for the faulty battery and offer a refund.
It's not possible to provide a meaningful review of these. If one kept records, one could later comment of longevity. If one were to experience a catastrophic failure of some sort, one could note it. For now, what is known is that they are normal-appearing coin cells. They are the correct size, and fit into devices that are designed to use this cell. They work.
Great supplier for odd size lithium button cells. Bulk purchase saves money, these shipped well bagged and appear a quality carded product. So far very happy with this brand will buy other sizes as needed from this supplier.
I bought these for a temperature monitor system that uses this very unusual CR2477 battery size. There are almost no sellers of these so choices are limited. These last about 4-6 months in the sensors. That's at least as good as the original batteries and as a ten pack the price per battery is pretty low so I'm more than happy with them.
I use these in SensorPush temperature sensors in my freezers and a refrigerator. The original batteries were performing WAY beyond expectations, but I wanted fresh batteries before leaving on a long trip, so I bought these and replaced all (3) of the sensor batteries with them. A day after we left, one of the sensors stopped reporting to the gateway. These sensors, btw, have been rock-solid through a couple years of use. Because of the new batteries, I suspected a failure there, and that's what it was. Image attached shows battery chemical leakage around the joint. No damage too the sensor, though. I put in an new one (same batch) and we'll see what happens. I guess if the rest last and perform, 1 defect/failure in 10 is acceptable, but the original major beans batteries just kept on ticking for over a year, and we're still running when I replaced them. I don't routinely slam Chinese products because of their origin. I have some very good Chinese products. The early failure may be an anomaly, since the other two I replaced are still fine after three weeks. The prices is right, at least.
I only use these batteries for one device and seemed like some batteries are lasting a week while others last a month. They should all last about the same amount of time.
All of the batteries are reading 40% on my device. I am using, i bought a pack of 10 they should not all be more than half dead.
These batteries DO NOT last. Since receiving them, and over a period of about 20 days, I have used six batteries. They have only lasted an average of two, maybe three days each. The only reason I haven't used more is that I have ignored messages to replace some days. If I could give zero stars, I would. I will be purchasing a reputable brand today, as I have just received another notification after placing a new battery in this past Saturday and today is Monday.
