Nature’s Bounty Calcium Supplement + 1000 IU Vitamin D3, 120 Ct (2-Pack)

I need calcium for my old bones. I am unable to swallow large pills. So I find my calcium in softgel form. These soft gel caps are large, but because of their shape and smooth finish, they are much easier to get down than hard caplets or pills. That's the selling point for me. My previous supply of calcium was white, this one is brown-ish. Was I always buying Nature's Bounty? I thought so. Its what's fairly priced at Walmart. They have no flavor, leave no grit, go down with plenty of water. They have 1200 milligrams per serving of two. 600 mg each.

Horse pills! They are pretty large pills that is for sure. I take other vitamins as well and have to take these two by themselves otherwise they all get stuck in my throat. If you have trouble swallowing large pills, they might not be the right choice for you, but if its not an issue, then will work fine. No bad taste, and none broken open. Great!

I use this product for osteoporosis because it has the exact amounts of vitamin D and calcium, as my doctor prescribed. I was so glad to find it in one product and not have to take two separate pills.

delivery delivery was to be free driver said could not deliver and returned to store. When I contacted Walmart I got an AI which was totally unhelpful. Then I asked for a live agent who was helpful and said that the drivers app had a fault so he could not deliver the package and returned to the store. Agent said he would cancel the order and issue me a $10.00 credit to my account for express shipping, but I had to reorder which I did and then Walmart charged $9.95 shipping (which when I first ordered shipping was free)

I bought this Calcium thinking it would be good for my husband and I to take. When I opened it, I was totally surprised. The capsules are huge. We are taking it because we paid for it, but I will never buy it again.

The first ingredient in the other ingredients section is Soybean Oil which means it contains the most of this ingredient. Other ingredients to look out for are Corn Oil and Soy Lecithin. I’ll be returning this supplement and getting another brand with a healthier list of other ingredients.

Supplements should have ZERO additives, but they managed to put soybean oil and corn oil into the these softgels. Always read ingredients before consuming theses oil pills that happen to contain calcium.

Very misleading label. In big bold font it says 1200 mcg Calcium but in tiny, tiny font 1/10 the size it sneaks in the words “per serving.” Also says quantity of 220 . This led me to believe there were 220 days of supplements in the bottle. But on the back of the bottle in tiny font it says you need to take two of them to get 1200. Why don't they say in equally bold font that it requires two softgels to get 1200 thereby reducing the number of days to 110 per bottle? Why didn't they simply say that these are 600 mcg pills in big bold font? Because they want the buyer to think these are double the size of their competitors' and therefore a better value. In my opinion I this tactic deceptive and misleading to get customers to buy their brand and not someone else's. And yes, I concede that this info appears somewhere on the 3 labels, but on the Walmart entry, it doesn't highlight these hidden limitations with the same emphasis as the 1200 and the 220.

I have NEVER seen a capsule this LARGE in my life! I don’t know how they expect elderly people to swallow these capsules! Now I’m stuck with two huge bottles of monster capsules to choke down.

this is too much calcium to be taking at one time. anything above 500 to 600 mg is poorly absorbed even when taken in combination with vitamin D3, and can lead to constipation, gas, and bloating. I do need this much calcium per day, but in two to three doses and preferably some of it from my diet. I should have looked this up (or consulted a health professional) before I ordered it. I plan to return it if I can. The product is fairly labeled, but should not be on the market at all In my opinion.
