Excellent substitute for AREDS 2, which every doctor prescribes without thinking about the effects of all that zinc. These have more of the 'eye vitamins' without the harsh minerals. I love them, my stomach does too, and my doctor approves. I'll be taking them for the long haul.
It's the only thing that I take for my macular degeneration and my ophthalmologist says that it doesn't ever change from here to year so I guess that's good
I feel very confident using this supplement. First, I have faith in LE supplements. Second, this is a supplement that an ophthalmologist I worked with felt was very effective.
I really like this supplement for my eyesight! It also helps my night vision. At first after taking it for 60 days, I didn't think it was doing much so I stopped. Then I realized all the good it was doing so have been taking it since then. I highly recommend it.
There are so many eye supplements on the market, each claiming a diff set of ingredients - very confusing, but this one is a winner for me bec I have a copper allergy so many of those available are not an option. I like the convenience of 1 a day and have had no negative side effects.

I've used this product to improve my night vision because driving started to become a problem after dark. I didn't get immediate results but after using for about a month I did notice a great improvement. I tried it for a second month and I noticed that it helped release the tension and eye strain from staring at a computer screen all day. I normally need glasses for distance and I've noticed improvement there also. My only complaint is that now I'm going to have to get new glasses for distance because of the improvement.
I have been using this for 3 to 4 months now really not sure if it is affecting me. my eyes. Have been dry they seem to be improving. I am also taking it for over all I health as I have had multiple surgeries and want to keep my eyes as healthy as can be.
I cannot recommend. I do not understand how this product and many other life extension supplements contain maltodextrin. Maltrodextrin is glucose that is chemically produced from plant starches. I don't want this fake chemical in my supplements or its resulting glucose.
