I personally like the way this oil makes my skin feel. Others may not have the same experience but this is one of the few oils I like for my skin. I don't use it on my face but my body after a bath. Keeps my skin from feeling dry especially during the cold months.

I was told that grapeseed oil does a good job of making your hair stronger so it doesn't fall out . I haven't had the bottle opened very long, but it does seem to be making my hair look more vibrant.

I am so disappointed in this product. For one, it claims to be "organic" but in no way is it organically certified by the FDA (the bottle has no organic seal). Therefore these organic claims may or may not be truth. Also so, how can we be certain that the oil is actually "hexane-free" or "cold-pressed"? My second complaint is the odor. Unfortunately, I made a batch of body butter using this, not realizing at that it smells rancid (it has a light "fishy" scent, similar to cod liver oil). So now I wasted my other, non-rancid ingredients in making the body butter with this icky oil! :-( I had used grapeseed oil on my face from the cooking isle and it doesn't have any scent - maybe slightly nutty, if anything. I realized this had a "fishy stench" as soon as I tried applying the oil directly to my face. A third complaint I have is that the oil comes in a clear bottle with no UV protectant. Grapeseed oil is a fragile oil that can spoil or have the quality reduced when exposed to prolonged sunlight. The oil came with an inner seal, and the expiration date is 02/18.
