I did not have the extra cash to spend on a Yeti or Artic cooler but I am pleasantly surprised in my purchase of this Lifetime Cooler. It held up great on my camping trip. A few days after our trip I opened it up to clean out our leftover drinks and the ice had melted but it was still COLD! Definitely recommend this cooler 100%.

does good holding temp in summer heat. tossed a bag of ice in for a test and left it sitting in my truck bed exposed to direct sunlight. ice lasted 3 days in extreme 100 degree heat. well worth it for the price, it outperforms the other big-name brands for less $$$

Excellent cooler, and insane value. The carrying handles are my least favorite feature, and on some surfaces, wheels would be nice, but in this case, for what I paid, I'm extremely happy. As a cooler, it keeps ice for far longer than our needs, and it keeps food cold on the way to our vacation destinations, which is what I need. Most customers really do not need to spend for the expensive brands - this one does the trick.

This cooler performs outstanding and it is a fair price. If you want to maximize your performance pre cool the cooler. On a Tues afternoon I put 40 lbs of Ice in. Wednesday I packed up for a road trip with drinks and some food. The cooler was in the back(bed) of my truck or in the garage for the entire period,(out of direct sunlight) On average I got in the cooler twice a day. On Friday I added 5lbs of ice from the hotel. One week later on a Wednesday day I still had Ice in this cooler not much but still had 5 cold drinks. I drained the water on (Friday). I keep it out of direct sunlight but temps were in the 90s everyday. Lows temps over night about 60. The design has nothing sticking out to break, has a great drain and cap with good latches that are flush with the cooler.

My husband had ice in it over the weekend the holiday weekend and it was in there for 3 days and didn't melt. wonderful. best cooler we've ever owned

Bought on a recommendation and not disappointed. Keeps ice very well despite opening lid throughout day, even better when lid is left closed. Bought 2 and considering a 3rd.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I believe I have the first generation 55 guart Lifetime, 7-10 years old now. Both handles broke and Lifetime replaced them at no cost. Now I got the 65 quart. I can get 6 days of ice on a 20lp bag after pre-chilling. Im a fan for Life.

From my understanding this is the new Walmart brand of coolers. In my opinion it is up there with come of the top brands. It seems highly durable and definitely holds ice for several days. This item exceeded my expectations.

I pre-cooled the cooler and the items to be added. I used frozen jugs of ice rather than loose ice pieces. It kept about 1/3 of the ice in the four frozen jugs over 4 full days in 90 degrees. I feel like a fifth day would have been obtainable. Over all I feel like this was near my expectations based on the advertisement. I am a bit concerned with the rope handles. They are comfortable in regard to carrying the cooler, they are well above the top and don't allow your hand to be pinched between the cooler and the handle. However I fear with the time they may break, I'm unsure of replacement availability or how difficult it may be to do so. Color texture and style were all great. If I had one other complaint, it's a small one, it is a bit heavy but not unmanageable. Overall I'm pleased.
